Here's a little secret: Post season the season 6 scores and it becomes meaningless. That would be the season Kathmandu owned the league and Ack shamelessly lost every game they played. Quitting the game to rebuild in equivalent to running home to mommy in a fight you intitiated.

I wish he still had a player in this league so there was one less receiver our defense would have to worry about.

Owned the league by being put out in the 2nd round, right? LMAO.

Despite Ack being dormant, we have far more playoff success than the chumps in Kat and they've _tried_ all of this time. You guys can't even get out of the second round. So, what have you dominated? You've won what, 3 first round playoff games in 6-7 seasons and that's... it?!?!?!

Hell, I gave them more credit than they deserved. Two playoff wins -- I dunno about the rest of you, but 2 first round playoff wins in six seasons = domination to me!

Yep. Actually our last play was a punt on 4th down by accident. We had a 00% instead of a 100% setting to go for it.... Oops. It happens. We had some other issues too, but no need to get into them here or now. Also, Mob was never on our team, so those are his words and not mine. But I'm sure he's referring to our 16-0 Season 5 (where we lost in the 2nd round to an incredibly stout Bali team) and our 15-1 Season 6 team (where we again were upset in the 2nd round, this time in overtime, not getting the ball first, and on a 52 yard FG). So 31-1 over those two seasons (our 2nd and 3rd), is pretty dominating, in my eyes as well, even if we were upset twice in the playoffs. And last I checked, dodgerdan... you abandoned your team BEFORE they began to slowbuild, only to return again once they had rebuilt. What's that say about you? At least we been here since our inception, and move forward as a team.

Anyhow, Congrats to Ack in another closely contested game. Nicely done, Sckbleh!

Maybe you're not aware, but all of the players who slowbuilt for those two seasons left the team after season 7. Every one of them. I was helping out the Brown Trout (CPL) farm system by giving their players a place to get XP while I didn't have time to run a team.

I'm not sure which it is:
-Do you not understand the concept of 'real life' sometimes becoming too busy for someone to be able to spend the time necessary to properly run a team (insert generic internet dig on how pathetic your RL must be)
OR
-If you became too busy to run a team for a few months, would you screw your agents by trying to keep them around while doing a halfass job?

Because neither was acceptable to me, and nobody on my team had the time to step up and run the team properly. So I gave my loyal players FAT bonus paychecks and we went dormant until things eased up for me in my work.

Not that I have to explain that to you -- the agents understood and felt treated fairly, which is all that really matters.

If you really must know I have over 20 SEA owners and GMs already backing me as the new mod. I have most FFA regulars asking for me to be modded. I have a tonne of former SEA owners backing me for mod. I have five current moderators supporting my campaign.

The fact is we had a lot of shit for a number of seasons in this league because of guys like you. Individuals like myself overreacted admittedly but last year we got things under control. Angry Beavers and I used to be at each others throats for instance and now I frankly dont mind him. This league is getting better and more like it was in seasons 3-5. I will not allow the Horde and Ack Attack to come in here and shit all over everything that weve done to improve things.

If you want to talk shit and fail the place up unconstructively I invite you to come to FFA. Youll get eaten alive. This is not FFA so stop trying to make it that way.

You make a fair point. I don't have the energy to constantly yell at you. I've voiced my frustrations to this point. If you have such a problem with fail threads, don't write them yourself. I don't think that is an unreasonable request of someone who views themselves as a potential moderator and facilitator of a civil league forum.

If you don't write "fail" posts yourself we will have no quarrels. If you continue to write "fail" posts and refsue to practice what you preach I will continue mocking you. I'm not in any way intimidated by FFA, nor do I have any interest in being a part of it. I plan on arguing with people and insulting them professionally, and frankly you've displayed little-to-no ability to be witty or win a logical argument.

I hadn't actually written very many fail threads in SEA AA4 (or in SEA A7) prior to your reaction to the Ack/Mountaineers thread. So basically, if you stop acting like a hall monitor I will refrain from writing "fail posts".

By the way...how did the Ack Attack or Horde muck anything up? This started because Ack wrote up a rivalry thread about Ack v. Mountaineers and you decided that wasn't good enough for the forums. I repeat, if you're worried about the integrity of your forums, behave accordingly.
