I saw "coltzilla" as the latest poster when I was going to check our wildfire's new league forum, BBB2! How could I forget purpled haze

edit - PS, check up on 'the wheatfield' if you haven't in a while. We combined our two big teams and are 6-0 in EE AAA2 after winning the gold in AA last season!

Wildfire in BBB2 has paid all level 32 and hasn't even sold out of most of the season. We'll be able to pay all level 40 as our players get there, and project to pay all level 48 and 50% of level 56 as our players reach there as well. Just takes good planning, but you can't let your teams levels get ahead of your franchise. This is still our fourth season as expansion teams, having level 40 players let alone paying them is a huge luxury I'd say!!

Why is equipment a right every college and pro team has equipment. I don't understand why people think equipment is only for the best teams. This has no basis in reality. There are plenty of things already that can help out the best teams. Awards, fame, endorsements. all go to the best players and best teams. lets make those rewards for being good teams not equipment.

I'm not talking about level 32 equipment or even level 40. those can be managed. but what teams here are going to be able to pay for level 48 and 56 equipment. players expect equipment when they sign with you. unless you know agents its hard enough to try and get people to sign with your team in this game. what player is going to sign with your team if you say no we haven't won a championship yet so there's no way we are going to pay for you equipment. I don't even care about those arguments really but my biggest thing is that equipment is not a reward for being on a good team in real life, I don't think it should be in here either. especially when people expect that your going to pay for their equipment.

To make it tougher on all of us in this BBB league we get less money for ticket sales than any A or higher division. and yet we have higher level teams in this league than some A division teams. I think A division teams should get more money but I also don't think Bort ever intended for level 40+ teams in BBB. So I think we are going to feel the money squeeze harder than most other teams.

This is BBB man you shouldn't be worrying about level 48 equipment. Those players don't belong here!

Well said.
The reshuffle should have been vertical as well. Not just the horizontal bop. I have a team in Eastern A whose highest leveled player is 22.

Doesn’t seem fair

The suggested level is 28-48, so while I guess that means I have to concede to the 48 argument, players that are higher than that don't belong here. If you want to sign em more power to ya. Until fame has a more defined effect I guess it won't hurt you too much. I just don't like the whining over not being able to afford level 48 equipment. The ticket pricing isn't setup to allow you to make that much money for that reason.

Ticket prices should ideally be based on the league's suggested level.

Maybe that's an idea worth pitching to the powers that be...?

Then maybe EQ cost should be a price scale to afford for the teams in each of their leagues.

All this will do is entice even more high level players to lay up in low level leagues and ruin the competition levels for the league. The better plan is for people to sign players in their suggested level for that league.

Then to be completely fair you would have to have a cap on every league. Not just a suggested level

I have been saying this for three seasons now. The fame thing is not deterring anyone and if your opponent has level 50 players it makes common sense to try to get the same or higher level players. Just like the current capped leagues, if you have players on your team that are over the cap when you move to that league they can stay but you wouldn't be able to sign new players over the cap. I completely agree that suggested levels should be changed to capped.

I got my team it was capped at 13 and I have been waiting to reach the uncapped.Last season Bort made everyone choose to be capped at this or that level or like some of us were uncapped. We choose to stay uncapped and already had higher then league suggested levels so this is really starting to get out of hand with to many people rethinking it over and over again.
