They may not be ahead of you but seeing as we are in pre-season and I try to be fair, all I have to go off of is team rankings and pre-season games and thus they are getting ranked ahead of you.

If I continue to do the rankings and as the season progresses I see you guys moving up and fast.

What's funny is following the ebbs and flow of the logic; the Crusaders, who finished 7th last season, are 0-3, blown out in their first two games primarily due to defensive experimentation (nobody in the team forum thought this was funny, I thought it was HYSTERICAL):

(Of course, there's nothing WRONG with experimenting in the pre-season, it's really damned important now that we can actually test out custom defensive formations)

Naturally, the Crusaders ranked 4th, because the teams they lost to are the top 3 Elephant teams, and if they were ranked out of the top 10, the Raiders would technically have not played anyone, and that couldn't be.

Drake, thank you for taking the time to give us what most people look for in preseason, I always know your Lists are well thought out and time consuming, I have seen them for a few seasons now, thank you, every league needs people with your effort to add depth to the league. For fun even in real sports, an opinion of the up coming season rankings is what it is, fun, thought out, and not ever an absolute vision of the future.

yes, people don't gameplan and they may not CARE so much about pre season games aside from finding the scrim loop holes, but to give any sort of opinion, pre season matches are some food for thought, unless you bench your whole damn team, it's still roster against roster no matter what you do. A preseason game like Nightmares and Pigs means little, hell nightmares could have and should have won, we had got lucky in the TO battle at the end. A game that ends up 79-7 or some shit is a bit different, it means a bit of something, for preseason rankings.

Actually it's always enjoyable to watch people get so steamed over preseason predictions, I guess it add a bit of spice to the upcoming year, with people trying to prove themselves in a new league, inspire their own troops, or fight back the decline of their own team. S9 will thankfully be based a bit more on reality so far it seems, so I hope for a fun competitive season.

And in all fairness to ECI's 79-7 loss, its not indicative of their team.. Actually look at the game or at least the box score and you'll see it is maybe a lil too lopsided to be "coincidence" or a result of a "clear talent disparity."

I agree man they ran 62 times passed 0 - I would say they are testing the SIM. Smart move just as we are looking to see what works and what doesn't.
