I will definitely look into Iowa's D to see what they are doing differently against the pass.

"The Bomber" didn't throw a pick against Iowa (way early in the season... I know.. shaddup), but Iowa is the ONLY TEAM this season to Sack "The Bomber"

Nah ... you missed my point. I saw a post from an Iowa player that said they RECENTLY 'changed' there tactics up. Anyways, everyone knows that "The Bomber" doesnt throw the ball very much, so how can he throw picks? Even against a weak Michigan team your guys still pounded the rock almost twice as much as you threw it. Dont worry ... I totally get your 'RPG-like' strategies. You want to remain a balanced gamer who takes only calculated risks and does only what it takes to win. Its cool if "The Bomber" is afraid to 'air-it-out' 60 times a game. Haha !

This simple answer to this question is that our defense is sick.

I think this is definitive proof that a team can get beat by gameplanning.

I'm 10th in the league in attempts...

I can't help it that we're always winning at the half and the simulation automatically goes run happy in the 2nd half to burn the clock...

You have your tactics set to auto adjust....good to know.

So you don't actually know how the simulation plays out? Good to know.

If your team is up in the fourth quarter the game goes into a ball control mode. The AI auto adjust is for tactical adjustments. If you are getting beat deep then the AI will adjust the settings. If you are up 50 in the 4th quarter the CPu won't make you go 5 wide on first down. The AI lays the game out using your settings and % but it doesn't do it blindly. If you have 50/50 set up it won't run on 3rd and long. I suppose if you set it to 100% run then it would.

Yes. Auto-adjust will kick in when the outcome of the game is no longer in doubt.

And that's why I am down like 100+ passing attempts from Rocket Elway - as an example.

Other than a couple games, by the 4th qtr all of our games have been no doubters. The AI automatically goes into handoff mode and I lose out on stats.

If I could override that and run up 200 points a game, then I would. I am an asshole like no other.
