once the back 7 get the vision to recognize the play, it becomes much less effective. not sure if they'll get there this year though

its does work at lvl 50, but as more of a gimmick play than an entire offense. run a handful of times it is a very useful tactic. it no longer works as an entire offensive game plan.

Looks like Bort lost couple bucks in the whole team boosting this season. That's the only way to make a statement to bort is through his wallet.

I encourage sending him a note, too. I was really ticked off when I saw that we got promoted. But I'm making the best of it.

I am still a proponent of at least 2 seasons in capped leagues for all new teams. If this was a normal league (i.e. not EE A#6), those of us that got promoted (League and conference Champions) would be buried in a league full of teams of level 45+ and have absolutely no shot to do anything this year. Because of the very odd way that our league and the ones above us set up a lot of teams are here that have no business in A ball yet and this league is up for grabs to the best recruiter.

We actually got a gift here. It is an opportunity to recruit, win the championship, and then move up to the next league without having to suffer the chemistry hits we would take upon being promoted. Unfortunately it sets up an ugly scenario in our league and a no win situation develops. If you recruit you are "an asshole that doesn't play within the spirit of the game" but if you don't you still may finish high enough to get promoted again next season.

I agree. I never should have been put in an uncapped league---but I did. And I'm builidng my team to compete.

Scrimmage game or no, it's nice to FINALLY beat Athens.

Small token of revenge for knocking Gensokyo out of the playoffs last season.

Wow, I did not realize you had players on that team. Its the first game of preseason I am sure everybody is testing new plays and such. It was very educational for me. I finally got to see some plays run for the first time ever. Still I see your point. We did kind of beat up on your Gensokyo Youkai last season.

Katowice won't win it. Our stadium is microscopic and the Stupid Owner wouldn't let us run with a team full of CPU players last season to build it up. We have a few good players (our TE, LT, FS's, SS's, CB & WR) but not much else. I have a few good players who could be brought onto the team at minimum wage and we can't afford to bring anyone new on.
