To me it's more about doing the fun things like game-planning. Last season there were only two teams that I didn't have to watch game film for (Apatity Awesome and The Brotherhood). All the others were competitive enough that the real strategies behind GLB came out. Player to player matchups, defensive trends, offensive trends, the whole nine yards. Our one regular season loss sucked, but I don't begrudge it. We sold out for a certain formation and the other team didn't run it that much. Dem's da breaks.

I might be crazy, but this game is more fun that way. The chance to win is more important than the winning itself. I don't mind going 0-16 if we had a chance to win all those games and just came up short. With the league as it is now, we have no chance against several teams and that number will most likely only increase as other teams do more no-cap recruiting. What's the point, twiddle my thumbs for 50 days and wait? I'd rather be gameplanning.

Completely agree. Only our two games vs Athens and then the game against the Wrath did we do any real scouting and game planning. And those were easily the 3 most enjoyable games, mostly because we had no idea if we would win. I would gladly drop the lvl35 DE and lvl25 WR we just signed if it meant the reshuffle would provide us with parity. I just am very skeptical that it will work like that.

Why do you think we played so many scrimmage games last year? We were probably the only ones actually trying and game planning for those.

Aw...you must not have looked at our scrimmage list. We used ours to test formations and plays mostly.

Lol, we played 14 scrimmages too but not to test game plans since we didn't change those at all all season long. We just wanted to get more games against better competition. The only close games we had were the ones we lost .

would have liked to have seen a presidents vs odyssey rematch

as I mentioned earlier and a lot of owners seem to have agreed lets try to keep the recruiting to level 28 & lower to keep it somewhat challenging and balanced. looking forward to this season lots of new toys to play with go go new depth chart and defensive play maker woot!

misfits brought in a couple high level players also, but not that many (3 or 4 I think I counted)

the number of players around level 40 on the Wrath seems to be growing

o well though, maybe the shuffle will happen for A now so who knows how the leagues could be set up

Once I get back from my trip I'll be contaminating this forum with my filth, but this time, we won't be able to back our trash talk because Bort fucked us over and put us in a league where we our outleveled by 10+ at every position.
