I think I know why we lost big in these games. Turnovers are making the difference. Against Stalingrad, we threw 4 INT's, one returned for a TD. Against Lafayette, we had a major fumbling problem which led to them scoring 14 points in about 10 seconds, then I knew with a 17-0 lead we were done. We had 6 Fumbles, 4 lost (1 returned for a TD). Those games we had 8 turnovers, which really hurt us. We have to limit the turnovers in the big games, that's what has been hurting us.

As much as I hate involving my team when referencing other team posts, that's true for Detroit as well. Take away the two turnovers versus BHB and we could have won by as much as 21. Prague, we had three turnovers..lost by one possession. When we played the Express we had an INT that stopped a drive we had going and missed two field goals and lost in OT. Kiev, we lost an INT and a fumble...

Turnovers make or break close games. It's all about adapting as best you can for the playoffs. Tweaking builds or changing tactics is vitally important in our one and done format. This game has a lot variables in it, a smart coach evaluates all of those and makes the proper adjustments.

But a huge part of the game is "luck"..winning the proverbial coin toss. Tweak, watch, learn. Best you can do Jon. I'm content with the results of the season so far, even if all of my losses are coinflips. Such is the life of a football team

our worst teams are still 10+ and all very active human owners.

There is a very different skill/level difference between our worst teams and Zeta's...

doesnt matter what level they are or if they are human controlled....if they perform worse they perform worse. Besides, i didnt say your teams are better or worse than ours, i said you have similar teams that are gimme games just like ours

hey saw as usual these are excellent writeups, quick question, would you post the ADD information? SoS and such? thanks boss

It's hard to believe that Prague is the best team in the division and number 3 in AAA#2... We feel we have a solid team and good scouting/gameplanning... but looking at the way teams like Lafayette, SGA, and Krakow have played, not to mention Barger Hill whom we are not looking forward to playing... and we could live with a top 5 ranking because we've won games we needed to, but we don't feel like we are that good.

As has been said numerous times, anyone can beat anyone in the right circumstances... thus far, we've just had the right circumstances. If, on 5/23, we win against Barger Hill, then I will admit we are freaking great! Until then, we haven't proven anything yet except win games that are put in front of us.

So, we'll keep on putting out our best effort, and see where the chips fall.

outlaws havent blown teams away either, we just got by with a win reguardless of looks. a win is a win wether it be ugly are epic. so truthfully if i were to pick a best team at this point, even though he was a complete ass to me and judging me before he knew me i'd have to say Gryphons, they are dominating every inch of the field. i think they will beat us if we meet again.

Don't sleep on Kiev. We've already played six of the top 11 teams and we're 3-3 against them. Every game has been close except ADD who blew us out with three late TDs. If a couple of guys boost, we could be a real spoiler in the playoffs.

17-0 against Prague was close?
