Call me a prophet but after our league championship game last season, I made the bold prediction about the jacks and mounties being the teams to beat next season!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Mounties face off against the team I had beating them in the conference championship game prior to half of AAA gutting, Ocho!

Nice to see a thread dedicated to us on here...
Anyhow, it is disappointing for us not to have made it to AAA this year. Basically, that was all settled with a 1st round upset loss to a team that had really improved in the latter part of the season and scouting didn't come as easy. However, we had a successful season going 14-2 and beating 2 teams that will be in AAA this season (murdered one team twice). I think the parity between each league could be argued as I see plenty of teams we could be competitive with in this league once we get here. To say all the teams promoted in the past 2 seasons have been better than us would be far from the truth (especially from Elephant this season).
And like gearhead said, our team has a special bond and we just all love to have fun with the game. You'll never see us sellout to become the next champs, that is for sure. The nicest thing is that even the players who have no affiliation with the non-GLB website that come on...enjoy it so much that they stay. I've been on a lot of crappy teams with my lower level players and can appreciate that.
Anyhow, good luck again in AAA and maybe we will see ya next season. If you'd like to scrimmage, feel free to send it over!
