Problem with a PD DT is that... well... no one passes.

That will change next season once running gets broken in the offseason and passing gets a boost

A fb on a team that i OC is just like that, no points in strength and almost all in agility. He picks up good yards every carry

I wanna try making either a powerback with no strength and pure carrying, or a powerback with pure strength and carrying and a bit of agility. No speed whatsoever, and just use him for short runs down the gut.

I don't know how the carrying only idea would work, but the no speed idea doesn't work.

Even with ridiculously high strength, carrying, decent agility and loads of stiff arm/power through?

Yeah, you need speed. You will break tackles, but what's the point if you can't get positive yards?

I am already making one, haha.

Soft-capped strength already, going to soft-cap tackling, then everthing else into jumping for a while. All equipment into jumping.

I plan on having 100+ jumping, 60 str and tackling, 60 vision, 50 agil, and as much as possible into "swat ball"

Yeah i did that Experiment and i did not get one PD in two seasons :/.

two seasons isn't long enough, especially with this build.

In two seasons you could definitely get enough jumping and vision, but then you won't have the required strength to not get pancaked every play, the required tackling to be useful aside from getting a PD, or the required agility to get off the ground quickly (In theory agil helps, anyway).

I am hoping that my slower, but hopefully better, strategy will pay off.

I trained strength/jumping until I could softcap strength. Now training tackling/jumping until I can softcap tackling. then training jumping/vision (if there is such a thing, otherwise some vision combination) while I boost jumping to probably the 5:1 cap. Not sure how many seasons that will take me, but it should leave me with a build of 60 str, 60 tackling, 100+ jumping, then an undetermined amount into vision (hopefully at least 50) and Swat Ball.

Also, with the advent of AE, I have a chance at getting some CB SA, I hope, that would help

Good luck breaking tackles without SAs on a pure carrying back.
