illinois had its one good year. they're gonna slip into obscurity again.

You obviously dont pay a damn bit of attention to College Football then. They brought back all of their offense except their RB and they have one of the best recruiting classes coming in.

I know you dont want to admit it, but we are here to stay.

the loss of mendenhall is going to hurt you more than you think it will. and i do pay a damn bit of attention to college football. i go to penn state, i watch every game i can, and i still don't think illinois will be that good this year.

Staying at third/fourth is quite an achievement! Michigan beat them @ their house. As far as I am concerned, that game speaks volumes for where Illinois is as a program. Good talent, good coach. Not neccesairily "elite" anything to stick with the top teams. They'll have upsets, but like Gonzaga in basketball, they'll never be a full force national contender or even B10 contender.

I like Illinois's style and confidence, but ....

He wont be the starter next year.
McGee is stronger, faster, and more accurate. The only reason he didnt start last year was because Juice knew the offense alot better. McGee is a stud and will be able to run that offense better.

Going to Penn State explains alot of things.
If you are so intelligent and all that, dont you think you would learn how to use capitals and half way decent sentances.

I guarantee they will be a top 25 team again next year. Maybe not this year because they got even younger, but give their new freshman a chance.

lol trying to insult my intelligence yet you can't even spell SENTENCE right. hilarity. my typing style is a choice, i choose not to capitalize because it doesn't really matter on the internet. and i would really like to know your definition of a half way decent SENTENCE. i chose penn state due to the fact that it has the best program in the nation for what i'm studying. i also got into upenn, boston college, virginia tech and rochester institute of technology. believe it or not, but penn state is actually a good school and tough to get into. it, like michigan, is considered one of the few public ivy league schools (in other words, not ohio state ). i think my 3.63 gpa speaks for itself, but if that isn't enough convincing, i've also held internships in the IT department at penn state and currently for a company called SIAM. next year, i'm lining up an internship for lockheed. seriously dude, don't insult my intelligence, because you do not know what you're talking about.

I expect the toughest games out of PSU and OSU (naturally.) I'm expecting either MSU or MINN to kick ass just as we play again (always happens one of them is streaking) and give us a run for our money.

msu may actually beat you guys this year. they were pretty pissed last year when mike hart referred to them as mich's little brother. i still can't believe we blew it against msu... or mich for that matter. we could have won 3 of the games we lost if it wasn't for &%$#*(!*@ morelli and our terrible red zone play calling. osu was just terrible.

Im not very good at typing, I hever have been, nor do I claim to be. At least my sentences are half-way coherant and people can actually read them without trying to figure out where a new one begins. I dont need to insult your intelligence, you do it with every sentence you write on here. Im sorry but using the "internet" excuse is pathetic and laughable. It just shows your lazy. You also insult your school and your the state by not caplitalizing Penn State or Penn in general. You also state Illinois had 1 good year and thats it. Once again another ignorant post or at least you show a complete bias. Since you keep expounding on the idea, it dosent show a bias, but yet ignorance. Congrats on telling me all of your successes over the internet. I as well am a multi-billionare with companies in 43000 countries. Dont believe me? I typed it on the internet so it has to be true.

Also Capone . . .yes we will beat them soon enough. Not bad for a school who hasn't been known for a football team since around the midevil days.

whatever dude. if you can't figure out my sentences then you need to learn to read. i hardly see how its insulting to not capitalize penn state or pennsylvania. i hold very deep respect for penn state, that doesn't mean i have to capitalize the word every time i use it. as for illinois, in recent history: one good year. that's what i was referring to. if you want to keep digging back in history, then it's just going to stack up better for penn state, as we were much better before 2000. and for real, until you fix your grammar errors, don't complain about my lack of capitalization. It's 'you're lazy', not your. <--- Look I capitalized! Just for you! and sure, maybe i am lazy, but that still doesn't make any of what you said true. . enjoy your (see i used the correct form there) inferiority complex to penn state. oh i'm sorry, i mean Penn State.

I loved that quote. It's so harsh, but yet so true. All four years he played at Michigan, they just did enough to beat MSU and usually MSU collapsed after it. They rarely end seasons well.

Congratulations you can type and spell better. You are a baby Einstein over there as well, but still type like a 12 year old. Once again I don't claim to be the most intelligent person or an excellent typer, but at least im not trying to prove im better than everyone while looking like a pre-teen. Also if you don't realize how not capitalizing a state or any other proper noun is an insult then you need to re-learn a few things. I would find it a huge insult if someone referred to the Marines as marines. It is a lack of proper respect for a term that has earned it.

Congrats on Penn State being a better football team, you will once again find at no point did I say Illinois was better. I will in fact, agree that they have been one of the worst football teams in recent Big Ten history. However, if you want to look at the true history of both programs you will find that Illinois has twice as many National championship teams as Penn State.

Thanks for playing the game, im out.

Edit: Its actually 5-2, not 4-2 like I thought. That doesn't stack up too well for Penn State.
