Someone should vote for me as FB... I am the best darn FB out there!!!

With 59 yards total for season 8, you would be my vote, NOT!

Sorry I was busy pass protecting for the #1 passing offense that only gave up 10 sacks this season!!! OH YEAHHH!!!

2nd best pass offense and 15 sacks allowed... the Jakes only gave up 6 btw.... just sayin

The Jakes are a rushing team. 1st in the run, and 28th in passing.

It is much easier for a QB to get sacked when passing than rushing. Agreed?

Think about it.......just sayin'

So your excuse to not having the least amount of sacks given up is that they ran more than you did? ok take the Wolverines. How about 5k Yards and only 13 sacks given up? better?

Since this is my last season in the Canada A5, I'm going to do some shameless self promotion

Carolina Copperheads
DT Gideon Rash: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=804874&playoffs=0
Absolute Beast!

LT Ezekiel Rash: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=615607&playoffs=0
(I know, only 22 pancakes, but that's not an accurate stat for a LT. He didn't give up a sack all year-not even close. BTW, he handled TreeFitty like it was nothing!)

Better but still weak.

Total passing yards: Stompers 5,769. Wolverines 5,061
Attempts Stompers 677 Wolverines 569
Sacks : Stompers 15 Wolverines 13

So we dropped back to pass 108 more times, yet only got sacked 2 more times.

I'm sure you can come up with something better than that.

oo, that should seal the deal i think...

Attempts/Sacks

Stompers 677/15 = .0221 sacks per pass attempt
Wolverines 569/13 = .0228 sacks per pass attempt

Less is better...

Even though you have the denominator and numerator switched

Jakes 287/6= .020

Even less is even better.....

Seriously though, if you have to go to four decimal points to prove something the point is moot. Thats my opinion of course. If it means you have to attempt 142 passes to show 1 sack of difference then its not statistically significant to make a whole hill of beans...

But you want to argue that your line is the best please do....just dont try to quantify it in this way

I hate it when definitions include the word which is being defined. It should just say "to provide a number".

So....back to the Pro-Bowl....

It seems like not many teams are going to go through all the players, on all the teams, and put all the time in to doing this with every position.

I suggest every team interested name their four players to the Bowl. Then the list can be determined from there. I don't think players on teams that are not active in submitting a vote should be voted for. If your team is active in this thread, then you can be elected. I purpose no deadbeat team, or team player be voted in.

No Pro Bowl team is legit that does not have General Kael on the roster.

Probably because that's a hell of a lot of work...
