Zone coverage is awful. Here's my proof:

Ghana Buffalos S4 (100% man): 16-0
Ghana Buffalos S8 (100% zone): 5-4-1

you know whats funny, theres a huge GLB crowd that would like alot more games like this one

Ties are kind of a let down but I wouldn't mind having more low-scoring games decided by great defenses. It's easier than you might think to get results like this, though. Don't use power backs.

Power Backs suck.......period.

We bitch about all these defense guys with lop sided builds....yet we think it's okay for a RB to do it

Power Back doesn't necessarily mean lop-sided. I had to build my ass off to get my back to be good.

Not mine, I took a elusive back at the start of last season and make him into a powerback. It was very easy...

I think converting would be easier because you would have glaring areas to work on. Bowen was the first player I ever really worked to be good, so I was kinda clueless.

I agree with you 100%. Teams would adjust in the real NFL, running 90% would not work if the AI adjustment wasn't FUBARed. With that being said, we will continue to exploit this until something is done

Excellent point. The major problem is that power backs are the easiest position to build in the game. They require the least diversification in attributes, have the best SAs in the game and bruiser at 3%, considering all the earlier points is just retarded.

LBs, their counterparts are exactly the opposite. They require the most diversification in attributes, their SAs are complete garbage, worst in the game by far, MLB have it the worst because the only useful SA is DG and they have to pump it up and it is at the end of the tree so you dump a ton of points into that and the worthless SAs in front of it and then you ask, "why don't the LBs have 100 str?". Then to top it all off, the LB VA that should counteract bruiser is sure tackler, go look in the bugs forum, it is completely broken and doesn't do jack.

I don't see how anyone could possibly defend this aspect of the sim right now, it is just flat out broken. Either power backs need to be nerfed, or LBs need useful SAs that directly counterbalance those of power backs, like why don't linebackers have wrap up tackle? And they should have a VA available that gives +3% to make a tackle, or the effectivness of bruiser should be dramatically reduced.

Next year LBs will be unstoppable. That's the way this game rolls and why I'll be saying goodbye when my cats hit retiring age. So lets enjoys each other as long as we can, we all did have one hell of a fun ass time meeting each other. I know i did.

I agree that the sim is messed up. I don't agree that power backs should be nerfed. Nerfing thing is what got us here in the first place. I'm not sure that power backs are much more effective than last season, but the challenge is that everything else has been nerfed. They need to stop nerfing things and allow builds to balance things out.

My power back is averaging less per carry and will have less TD's than last season, while breaking more tackles. If the passing game weren't all screwed up, people wouldn't be obsessed with power backs because teams would have options and could be more balanced. Nerfing the only thing that is a viable option for offenses will leave up with a pile of goo. Also, as players adjust their builds to slow power backs, elusive backs will be more successful adding more balance to running backs.
