To be fair, Kobenhaven brought their "ringers" in last season during the arms race -- not that it did much good. They're still here, right?

it certainly should be a one team race as many ringers as you brought in to a fucking A league, but you sure aren't beating teams any worse than other top tier teams despite your 10-13 level advantage over everyone. honestly doesn't bode too well for your future in AA and AAA when you no longer have your enormous level advantage to use as a crutch.

looking back at our blowout win against you in season 6 all i see on your roster is Retired Player, Retired Player, Retired Player. and now here we are, equally talented but with another 3 full seasons that you no longer have since you gutted your team for easy wins rather than earning them by improving the team you had.

im not sure how that is "going there", but if you want to assign fault for a team owner improving his team, then guilty as charged i suppose.

i guess we'll see how much you improved it in a few weeks, although either way i kind of doubt it was substantial enough to be worth mortgaging your team's future

I need someone to explain what exactly Lambda disapproves about what our team has done? I mean last I checked we haven't broken any rules of the game, nor have we broken any of the unwritten moral rules of GLB either. We run legit game plans on both sides of the ball, not trying to exploit the game but trying to play the way it's supposed to be played. We bring in players within the cap allowed for this league. We're extremely true to our original members, giving them priority is all aspects of the game. And these are things we've always done. What exactly is there that we've done wrong?

We're not so dominant in this league because we went out and bought top tier players to be that way, in fact many many many of the players that are gone from this team chose to be. And the players brought in as there replacements from the teams existing agents. We were just one notch below everyone that got promoted last season. Now they're gone and we've stepped it up.

No one is touting absolute dominance! And I think going undefeated is a bit of a stretch for any team in a conference this tough. There is always some mid-level teams that come up and bite you in the ass, and we are fully prepared to accept this if it should happen. Last I checked this was an un-capped league with suggested levels. If you didn't recruit as well as KH than that is a poor ownership decision on your team. Maybe no one wanted to be part of the fruits. They may have thought it was a gay team or something. Your Dots are black and Pink

well that's a stupid statement.

look at the teams both teams have played so far

kobenhaven:
beat atom bombs 38-27 (+11)
beat manchester 48-16 (+32)

pf:
beat atom bombs 52-20 (+32)
beat manchester 37-3 (+34)

sure it's a small sample size, but kobenhaven isn't beating any of the teams they've played by significantly more than the other alpha front runners in parma and eca.

then look at the other games both teams have won. we're playing at just as high of a level as kobenhaven, if not higher, and we are outleveled by 10-13 across the board. in what world does this imply poor recruiting for us? if anything it implies brilliant recruiting for us, because we're doing the same (or more) with far less. it also gives our team a much much higher ceiling than kobenhaven because we aren't going to have to retire half our team in 2 seasons due to being too old.
