Personally, I think you are lucky that Hokiemon considers this to be a game and doesn't pursue any type of libel or slander charges against you. Don't kid yourself. There are people out there whose sole purpose is to do just that.

It is mildly funny watching you be an old blowhard (IMHO) about the fact that someone took a different approach to the game that you don't agree with and playing the "woe is me" card. But it is another matter completely when you falsely accuse them of collusion to gain an unfair advantage in the game and potentially put bort in a position as well to have to answer to slander charges.

This is just my opinion, and I have not spoken with Hokie about it, or anyone else for that matter. Just as friendly a word of caution as I could muster, given the ridiculous, unfounded charges.

Do you really think that he could actually file a lawsuit and do anything other than waste his money? You couldn't win a slander or libel case from what was said on the forums in GLB. I could make accusations about Hokiemon cheating or being a tester all day and nothing could really be done about it legally. Or maybe I should say, that nothing WOULD be done about it other than he could get the admins/mods to do something. If you tried to take a case like that to court, a judge would most likely laugh at you.

I have seen a lot of stupid things on this site, but this by far tops the cake. Don't kid yourself - there are NOT people whose sole purpose is to do just that. They don't care about a GAME, moron. Evidently, you have never studied law at all, but one would think you would have had to have taken a civics class. Thanks for showing most people out there are completely ignorant about how our system works. Perhaps you should go back to school and brush up on the law.
