I'm trying to come up with a way of wagering over which returning team will be the last to allow a TD to one of the new teams, but I'm not sure what the best way of doing that is...

You cannot go wrong with "17-1 its Copenhagen".

last or first? and it would have to be a date bet.. you would have to start a pool on the date it would occur... with odds on the teams...

But Copenhagen is always able to give up a TD. In my recent scrimmages as OC - about like trusting a train conductor to fly your 727 - I managed to win 91-2, giving up a safety... to a CPU team! Doh! I could have cried like a little girl!!!

I originally thought first, but with several returning teams that would like to play it would sort of be a buzzkill if Lyon gives up a flukish TD to Loch Ness in week 1...
Having the last team to allow a TD to the newbies as the winner has the potential of keeping it alive all season. Of course, there's the very real possibility that there's multiple winners in that contest.

well then your bet would be based purly on statistical chance.. say I want to bet.. my bet is going to be one of two things a team straight up if thats the way you want to do it.. or take percentage bets if you think that multiple teams could be left at the end of the season or that multiple teams will go out all at the same time...
simple you need to figure the odds based on the winning percentages and strength of schedule.. so for any given returning team. figure out strength of schedule and base a pay line off of that schedule... based on the odds of which team will still be alive in the competition in say week 4.. if teams are still alive in week 4 then odds go up in week 5.. and so on and so on.
Hope that made sense cuz it did in my head!

Don't count the Nuts out, we made a few minor changes, and are ready to compete here in A.

Good luck with that.

That puts a damper on my players participating in the pre-game tailgates, and wrecking the place during the sideline, after-game keggers.

What the heck! I have a player on the Nuts and I own a team in this league...this smells like collusion! Someone call the collusion police.

Technically referred to as a "collusion collision", when one of your collusive enterprises encounters another. I believe that a full house of collusion beats two pairs of collusion in those cases.
