Here's an interesting tidbit for all you weather fans out there...
not actual predictions but simply current temperatures at time of posting.
Let's see if they can beat Chriztians picks:

Windsor 14
Black River 10

Thunder Bay 18
Toronto 10

Vancouver 39 (yes, it can be much warmer in Canada than the US in spots)
Cincy 21

Manitoba -6 (not sure if a minus temp gets the nod, but hey, zero is zero)
N. Bay 0

Lol, love these, great thought.

Come on Manitoba, the weather says go negative, how about it.

Can't do negative sorry, but if you shut us out we'll consider it very negative

Toronto over Thunder Bay -37-16.
I know nothing about these teams except Toronto has the better record
and looks really impressive in the scoreboard and stats.

Windsor over Black River 24-17
I think Black River wasn't quite as good as the last game.
I like Windsor's talent here.

Maulers over North Bay 36-31
North Bay has a great O, but Maulers have those DE's. Maulers O
is underrated.

Cincy over Vancouver 21-10

Vancouver is a smart team that gets the most out
of their talent. I think Cincy has a little more talent though
and a little more flexibility in how they attack. The
last game will teach them how to go after Vancouver.

Dimmy...that is harsh man.

Thanks for the compliments Dimmy! I hope you're right about the outcome. North Bay is a great team and I am sure they will have the perfect game plan in place. I do not have a warm fuzzy feeling about this game.

Try working the railroad in all weather. Its always hotter or colder on the tracks than it is anywhere else. I read temperature of 147 in between the rails during summer and have experienced -15 wind chills in carolinas. I am originally from Florida so first cold I had to endure I was not prepared for. No long johns or overalls to block the wind. I laugh now I wore jeans, T-shirt, flanel and sweater for a day of work in 6 inches of snow. Talk about an eye opener. What stinks is you can't wear cut off shirts or shorts during the summer time. Steel toe boots feel like your toes are being cooked. SO hot between the rail it sucks the oxygen from your lungs.

Welcome to the GLB weather channel.

Hope your wrong Dimmy

But know what you mean Pacino. Closer and closer it gets to game time the more nervous I get. Wondering what else I could possibly come up with to throw at you guys. A kitchen sink to throw at one of your DEs heads would be good, just can't seem to figure out how to throw it into the O game plan

HEADLINE: High 50s in Washington, DC this weekend. Everybody will be taking time away from working on the stimulus to play some basketball.

There is a large accumulation of snow in Manitoba today.

Forecasters say Drifts high enough to bury a Mauler.

In Maine we are 3 degrees right now and no snow. Can 3 be enough?

Well I"m rooting for Vancouver. But I think Cincy will win.
. I'm wrong a lot though.

I remember upon very first glance when we got moved into this league that Cincy looked like the team to beat. Of course I also said Alberta looked tough back then, and they turned out to be the biggest pussies in the league. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Chriztian has got to be one of the hardest working owners in the league from what I can tell, so I wouldn't put it past them.

The thing I like about the vikings is they really don't have any better team than most of us. There players could fit in on the Dragons team or the Moose or Lions but Chriztian manages to win while we just can't. His game plans are extremely good. Cincy uses there levels well but isn't surprising in there game planning . They just do what they do best and win. My guess is Cincy will have to do something different to win.
