Sorry, but Phuck Mizzou led both leagues in sacks and was third overall in hurries, and he didn't make the pro bowl. Lame.

Well for what its worth, I don't think I'll do the awards next season until seasons end, I got a bit bored and did them early this season, but now that I own a team wont do it next season.

They will be done at seasons end!

Oops, i just read that you did it with three games left. that makes a lot more sense. Good writeup, though. Always fun to see other peoples' thoughts on this stuff.

Sorry to tell you, but Pancakes have nothing to do with effective offensive linemen.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you

pancake is by far the most effective block there is, especially in the running game

that being said, I don't 100% disagree with you either. you can have a very dominant tackle that doesn't produce a lot of pancakes

Pancakes are nice, but it doesn't tell you how many sacks he has allowed. Magic OL only allowed 15 sacks, which is 7th best in League; but if you look at Pancakes they produced 299--12th in league. We pass quite a bit so those 15 sacks allowed is pretty good. I think we have a good OL but our individual players don't win too many Pancakes awards.

Phuck Mizzou absolutely dominated the end of the season. Wanna share your secret?

Niger only gave up 9 sacks with virtually same passing attempts

and we had 200+ more pancakes than the nearest team

it's possible to do both

His Revenge teammates loaded him up with coke and hookers.

Damn I should have saved some of my money for more blow. Tanner blew it all on his sweet new chain he's rocking. It's so baller it might have slowed him down a little this season having to carry the extra weight.

I have to say I always thought it was a tad excessive for him to wear a 10,000 carat gold necklace on gameday.

I was more alluding to the fact that gold "carats" doesn't really go above 24...

No offense, but Niger played in Lion's Conference, where there were six really bad teams, which equals lots of easy pancakes and not too many sacks allowed.

actually "carats" with a C is a unit of measurement for weight, so it can go as high as it wants. Karats with a K measures the purity of gold, which only goes up to 24

almost

carat as weight, refers only to gemstone

carat or karat in regards to gold is purity (carat or karat can be used interchangeably here)

I'm pretty sure the only proper way to spell it is with a K when referencing gold purity but I understand that using "carats" as a measurement of weight for gold is probably the incorrect way of describing its weight (10,000 carats just sounds cooler then 4 pounds). So to correct my mistake I will change my original statement to "I have to say I always thought it was a tad excessive for him to wear a 10,000 carat DIAMOND necklace on gameday."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carat_(purity)

basically, in north america, karat is more common
rest of the world just uses carat
