1. Moose Factory Mounties - 14-1
Final game: #13 Great Bear Lake Shamans
With what amounts to a gimme for their final game, Moose Factory will almost certainly finish #1.

2. Kodiak Bears - 13-2
Final game: #4 Alberta Gangsters
Tough game... if Kodiak wins, they lock in #2. A loss drops them to #4.

3. Doom Mountain Demons - 12-3
Final game: #15 Vancouver Jaguars
They have a CPU-owned final opponent and they own the tie-breakers over both Kodiak and Alberta. If Alberta beats Kodiak to create a 3-way tie, the Demons will finish #2.

4. Alberta Gangsters - 12-3
Final game: #2 Kodiak Bears
They own the tie-breaker over Toronto, so they can finish no worse than #4, even with a loss to Kodiak. But a win over Kodiak pushes them up to #3.

5. Toronto Peace - 11-4
Final game: #12 South Manitoba Shady Devils
Win or lose, Toronto is basically locked in at #5, no higher, no lower.

6. Prince Edward Island Royalty - 9-6
Final game: #10 Quebec Eh's
PEI owns the tie-breakers over Ontario, Niagara and Queensland, so a win locks them in at #6. Same if both PEI and Ontario lose. But a PEI loss plus an Ontario win drops PEI to #7... but no lower.

7. Ontario Coyotes - 9-6
Final game: #9 Queensland Exiles
Ontario has already lost to #8 Niagara, so they have to stay ahead. A win locks in Ontario at #7, and if PEI loses too, Ontario jumps up to #6. But #8 Niagara has a guaranteed win for their finale, so an Ontario loss would put them at the bottom of a 3-way tie, locked out at #9.

8. Niagara Falls Barrell Riders - 8-7
Final game: #16 Victoria Secret
Finales don't come any easier than this. Niagara has a lock on at least finishing #8. And if Ontario loses, Niagara will rise to #7 thanks to owning the tie-breaker over both Ontario and Queensland.

9. Queensland Exiles - 8-7
Final game: #7 Ontario Coyotes
Win and they're in. Queensland must defeat Ontario just to take the #8 playoff spot. A loss keeps them frozen out at #9.


KEY MATCHUPS

#1 Moose Factory Mounties vs. #13 Great Bear Lake Shamans
Crazy upsets happen, and a loss could cost the Mounties the #1 seed. But Moose should take care of business here.

#2 Kodiak Bears vs. #4 Alberta Gangsters
An Alberta win would shuffle the top 4.

#6 Prince Edward Island Royalty vs. #10 Quebec Eh's
This game determines whether PEI finishes #6 or #7.

#7 Ontario Coyotes vs. #9 Queensland Exiles
The winner gets the playoff spot, and the loser is eliminated. Big game for both teams!

not quite...if Moose takes the loss in the final win, and Kodiak is fortunate enough to win that would give the Bears the #1 seed due to the head-to-head tiebreaker.

So no, not officially...though likely.

the west is wide open, forget seedings. Everyone has a win over a team that beat a team they lost to. That being said, whoever draws DMD in round 1 better spread dem cheeks because they gonna get done.

Ok. And loser gets the second and I will pay the next to to even things up. I like all the series, but fell for season 4 because of Melchett.

I am actually going with several of the guys from Football Forum Fighting Danes so if you don't know the forum (or team), check out, cause there has been a little talk about getting the Danes together over there. Could be fun to relive those raids we used to 1000 years ago. Rape, pillage and burn while getting pissed!

Good luck next game. Looks to me to be one hell of a match. Glad you made it past Calgary so we could have the nerve, but I would not have cried if you had lost that one. Looked to close for comfort for me if I was playing for Exiles.

That would most likely be PEIR, but if you should advance to #2 I would be happy to play you guys. If you mean spreading my cheeks by shouting L-OOOOOO-ser, then I am already doing that ;-).
