Don't try to enlist my help. This little thing between you and BOOM is all about the two of you. He does his job very well,for my team and that is all I ask of him. I will not tell him how to run his life, he is a big boy.

Interesting, you want posts to stop turning into Boltz discussions. But you don't want to confront the problem.

By confront the problem you mean? Have him (Boltz) stop adding his opinion to everything anyone types on every post? Have BOOm stop poking him with a stick everytime he gets quiet? I don't control BOOM. So far, BOOM has not posted and yet this has become a post about Boltz...clearly BOOm is not the only factor. Is he part of it...yes.

He has every right to state his opinion in any and every post on this forum. You made this post about Boltz in the very first post. You're right you don't control Boom, but if I was the GM of a person that was harassing another person as much as Boom does to Boltz. I would have strong words for that person, being a member of my team.

If you disagree with any of Boltz's opinions, you can either:
1) Ignore it.
2) Politely post your disagreement
3) Call him stupid.

So far most of the people on this forum have gone for #3. Is the kid annoying at times? You betcha. Do you need to verbally assault him? Definitely not.

I would say be the bigger man, but clearly it's hard for everyone to do in this forum.

I really wouldn't even call what Boom does harrassing Boltz perse. Sure, there are times when he crosses the line, but the majority of the time it's simply that Boltz posts something that we'll say is of questionable value, and people point it out. Boltz then goes into "Boltz Iterw3bz " mode, and things just... well. You've all read it. Hell if you read Canada BBB8 you can't help but not.

I think on some level, you show what sort of person you are by the people you associate yourself with. You make a statement about your priorities, your morality, ethics etc etc.

It isn't his job I agree. That doesn't mean he can't speak up to a friend or associate when they do things that he believes are wrong.

This is true and I do that with my friends on GLB but not random people that I don't know. I guess that if it were well over the line and offensive material, I would act on it. I have guys that are GMs for my team and other teams that I have players on and they are quite offensive but never where I consider it to be way out of line. If it were to go there, I would tell them as much.

I get your point but I don't think we should jump on an owner of a team for what one of his GMs or player's owner says on the forums unless it is way over the line and in that case, a moderator would be the course of action.
