Trust me when I say I know it sucks, and I didn't take it lightly. But for me personally, being successful was not enough reason to keep Tonga going . . . and the last couple of seasons have felt more burdensome than pleasurable. Declining agent participation was a huge part of that, since a big part of the allure of GLB was the team aspect of things.

I don't know if any other teams of Tongas caliber has folded in the past, but I think there should be a stickied thread put up after this season for Tonga (and any other elite teams of the past) just containing a brief write up of their history/accomplishments/etc. to keep a running history of past great teams in Oceania Pro.

One of the things I've often thought about for OPro is a kind of commissioners office that would pursue and organize tournaments, represent OPRO on the general forums, assist in recruiting, assist owners in keeping teams active and competitive, arbitrate disputes between teams and teams, players and teams, etc., and keep an ongoing history.

That's something I could get excited about doing for OPro . . . but not now. Maybe in the future I could volunteer (with owners approval of course) to fill that kind of league role as a impartial non-owner, but for the next few months at least, I just need a break.

Yeah, that fits into the idea that I started and got stickied about a season ago that lost momentum - I still think its a great idea for O-PRO and we couldn't elect a better person to be the face of Oceania PRO than you.

Wow that really sucks. I remember when I came to the Gods at the end of season four you guys were playing the 'Nites(old FFLivewire version I think) in the OPL championship. I was glad to be able to watch that game, I got two good championship games in a row because of the Boston Knighthawks v.s. LV Freebirds USA AAA#2 chamionship game in S3. I also remember saying how I'd loved to have drawn you guys for a pre-season scrimmage, so we could finally play a "big 3" Alpha team. You guys have been a part of the greatest league(imo) in GLB for a while now and you guys have probably helped make it that way.

This really sucks, I completely understand the frustration but this loss will be felt across GLB. You guys will be missed, really enjoyed and appreciate all you guys effort to make the Oceania Division what it is.

well i have not been on here much as i know what you mean about having the time i also have only been here for 2 seasons but i can say that you will be missed as your one of the top teams here. but to each his own and it's your decision

I've got two big memories from our early seasons in OPro. One is that championship game, which even though we lost, was one fo the great games we've been involved in.

The other was completely pasting Mean Machine in season 5
