Warrior General Games

Well, its more than speed or strength why I said "bad build". That vision is waay low for a level 43 HB imho. Mainly, what I was looking at was the confidence and vision. The way I see it, the higher confidence, the more likely to hit the holes instead of hesitating (which should happen with low confidence). Also the vision, the higher the vision, the faster to see the holes to hit.

As for the SAs and VA's, I think its crap. It makes the game more like a fantasy game like World of Warcraft than a football game. "I have special abilities to make me uber!!" Instead of the basic skills to compete. I would rather see VAs and SAs be the smallest part of the game, not the biggest. Like they only enhance what you already have (which is I believe how they are supposed to be). But if you have lower skills, then the enhancements shouldnt make you dominant versus all, only slightly better than somebody with the same skills and no enhancements.

Thats just my own opinion. I'd rather see competitiveness, instead of unrealistic dominance.

Its pretty well known that vision isn't very important for players carrying the ball in GLB, ironically JB started as a "vision" back but I decided it wasn't worth it after reading some of Flames's posts and seeing some early successful powerback builds. And confidence is a joke in the sim the way its currently implemented.

Yeah, I'm hoping more people answered that poll with more realism than insanely high stats. But I doubt anything would happen to make it more realistic even if it was the popular vote. But I can dream.

I supported the realism option in the polls, but there will never be true NFL realism and that's okay. For one thing, most NFL teams take the entire play clock between every snap unless they're in a hurry-up situation; if GLB teams did that there wouldn't be NEARLY enough plays to go around. For another, there are always a few chump teams in every league that provide absurd stat-padding opportunities; any analysis of realism has to remove those first. And finally, there should definitely be a reward for really maximizing your build... this is a game, after all!

Well, dont get me wrong. I dont want to see games with the final score 3-6 with all the players getting 15 plays. I just would like to see more 100-200 yard rushing games instead of 1,000 yard rushing games (our HB broke 1,000 yards in game 16 alone). I would like to see scores 20+ to 30+ a game, not 250 to 0 (which we also scored).

Basically, all I really want is true competitiveness in every league with the best HB in the league maybe breaking 2500 yards total. What I would like is for them to find a way to truly get rid of the non competitive teams into BBB leagues and move the competitive teams to the tier they should be. None of this move 1-2 teams up and 1-2 teams down. Frikken overhaul it every season IMHO since doing it its current way doesnt seem to work.

And fine tuning the SAs and VAs so they arent so dominant. Because even though it may be a non-conventional build now, everybody will see what it does and within the next 2 seasons, it will be the new mold and the game will be ridiculously one sided (even more than now). Thats how it works in any MMORPG game, somebody finds a dominant suit/build/spec/whatever, and soon everybody in game has it and nobody can stop it til it gets nerfed. Every game that gives players special abilities always seems to break the game and will inevitably have to fix the error by nerfing the shit out of it pissing off 75% of its community because they have to overkill the nerf to get people to stop using that special ability or whatever.

I just wish one game based off a real thing, wouldnt add so much fantasy crap making it unrealistic. I mean, we have superheros playing football for gods sake. Why not tone it down to just pretty good humans? I dont think thats too much to ask.
