Rank USA #8 Team
1 Chesapeake Roadrunners
2 Atlanta Samurai
3 Bloomington Rhinos
4 Tucson Warriors
5 Indianapolis Gurupies
6 Vermont Icestorm
7 Florida Free Ballers
8 Waller Knights
9 Nashville Longshots
10 Reamstown Ramrods
11 Austin Outlaws
12 Seattle Grand Cru
13 Detroit Destroyers
14 Green Bay Spartans
15 Georgia Dawgs
16 New Orleans Where Y'ats
17 Texas Tornado
18 Phoenix Elves
19 Orlando Moon Doggies
20 Tulsa CPU Giants
21 Nashville Psychotic Smilies
22 Washington WarDogs
23 Bowdoin Polar Bears
24 New Jersey Nighthawks
25 Buffalo Blues
26 Rhode Island Wolves
27 Omaha Express
28 Oakland Plunderers
29 Green Bay Blizzard
30 Pittsburgh Highlanders
31 Detroit Outlaws
32 Destin Pigskin Pimps

Curious how 1-loss Atlanta could be ranked above undefeated Tucson. Especially when the combined record of Atlanta's opponents is 12-24 and the combined record of Tucson's is 17-19.

Removing their results vs Atlanta and Tucson respectively, the adjusted records of Atlanta's opponents is 11-19 and Tucson's is 17-13. Not even close to equal schedules and Tucson has yet to lose.

Must be the same formula the BCS uses

And yet our opposition still has a better overall record than Atlanta... what is your point?

Nice job. I'm happy with 12 and 14 in the Rankings respectively. I hope we climb a bit before the end of the year though

Whoever says that a great game plan can overcome a average level of 2 is just wrong.
I don't care how you slice it a team of all 9's are going to beat a team of all 7's.

Wow, didn't realize I was crying when I asked him a question. Nor when I responded to your lame response to said question. Thanks for clarifying.

Oh, and given the normal talk in this league, you saying this was crying is LOL irony... you really do have a future in comedy methinks... assuming you were intentionally referencing the silly "they cheated" cries we normally see around here.

Better combine that gameplan with good character builds and solid depth. THEN you can overcome a 2-3 level per player deficit (with a bit of luck or poor gameplanning/development on their part).

Our main team regularly beats teams with a 1-3 level per character advantage, since we refrained from boosting while everyone else in the league has already done so.

Well the average levels are included for depth. I agree that depth is key.

Here is my formula for rankings if you guys were wondering.

RankPoints=(Wins*5)+(Ties*2)+(AvGlevel*5)+(Streak-0)

This was just the first one I came up with. I agree with the streak not being that important so I am going to probably get rid of it. I plan on implementing Strength of Schedule next.

Easy way to do SoS, btw is just to take Total Wins - Total Losses netted for all opponents and then remove the team being evaluated's record to get the results vs all other teams... we do this is a couple of College FF leagues I am in.

For instance, with Tucson:
Our opponents are a combined 17-19. We are 6-0. So in games played vs all other opponents, the teams we have played have a combined record of 17-13. Therefore, our comparative SoS would be +4...

Or something similar to that...
