cricket, is a game I have very little understanding on, but they don't show it much here, if at all. But if they did I'd give it a chance and watch it (but I prefer contact sports)

If your lucky in cricket the "hitter"(not sure what it's called" will smoke one right back at the pitcher and it's funny to watch him get out of the way without a glove

Cricket is one of those sports where you have to understand the game to watch, you will struggle to pick it up just by watching it. You need at least a small grasp of how you actually win a game or cricket which im sure many people on here couldn't.

I also prefer contact sports, if i was going to list my favourite sports it would go something like this:

Football (Soccer)
American football
Formula one motorsport
Golf
Cricket
Rugby league football

The "hitter" is called the batter or batsman and the "pitcher" is called a bowler.

Seriously!?!? talk of contact sports and no mention of hockey?

Im not a fan of hockey, it's pretty hard to find in the UK if im honest. The other 3 sports are quite easy to find but not so much hockey.

When I was in the army, I was sent to Kuwait in '93 and the TV in the barracks we were in only got one channel - an English (BBC maybe) one that showed Cricket all the time. I spent a lot of hours of downtime watching Cricket ... after a few months I actually began to enjoy watching it and I sort of understood it by the time I left that hellhole.

When I was in Germany, I went to watch a Rugby game (army team vs. a British team). The visiting team didn't have enough people, so went into the stands looking for folks that might be able to play - I was one of the people they picked (I played American football and I guess I looked like I could handle it). I've played football for years at just about every position and I was never in as much pain as I was after an hour of rugby ... I got my arse pasted. Went to Munich to celebrate Oktoberfest afterwards (both teams partied together) ... ahhh, good times

Rugby is controlled chaos. I had a friend lose an ear in a rugby game.
The only reason I have hockey highest on my list for full contact is that they do it all on ice. They move faster because of ice and by default have more force behind the hits. Plus a thick piece of frozen rubber flying around at 90+mph.
Rugby is a very close second. IF they played rugby on ice with no pads it would be tops on my list.

His point is that he can remember numbers. Good work buddy! WE might mix it up with colors and shapes soon too. Dont want to go too fast though, it might get tricky.

My point is we beat you already. You Dream are a crazy bunch... Trying to burn a team that has beat you after you were relagated while we earned our spot. Haha, i'm not too worried about you guys, your owner called all of us pansies and said we would shake and quiver, but we beat YOU so I don't think you have too much room to talk man. PLUS one of you is the punter for the team lol. Good luck to you guys, there is some talent here. if you can get past the destroyers, communists, massacre, and us. Then you have my full respect.
