Still a POS. BDR isn't #1.

I blame Decatur for this, because of their tough early schedule.

Ahoda, you guys are a great team, and I don't know why we are anywhere near being considered competitive, but we'll take it. I think last season we thought we had a better team, but couldn't make it even half way up the list, lol

Let people sleep on you guys, but for damn sure we won't, 2 years straight we have had the pleasure of you guys kicking the sh*t out of our pride, good thing we only used our Decoy Pride in those games!

If we don't make the playoffs, I sure as heck would love to have a end of the season scrimmage against you guys.

So who do you think Detroit takes with the #1 pick?

or will they trade it for player's and a lower pick?

I think we should address the O-Line...Kruetz is getting old, and I think that if we take care of the lines then we will be good to go, but the thing that worries me, is if you remember Jerry Angelo was at Tampa Bay before he was in Chicago, and he built a heck of a Defense there, but he never addressed the Offense, and then he came here, and after he left Tampa got those right Offensive pieces, and they won that Super Bowl. I see that he is doing the same thing here, we keep getting D, D, D on Draft Day, and that is why we have the problems we have, and we need to STOP drafting for need, and draft the best player's available, and address our needs in F/A.

I think that we need to :

Address the age on the team.
Get the Line's Squared away, both O and D.
We need a Friggin WR! Booker can only go so much further, and Lloyd, though I like him, can't stay off the trainer's table.
We need a QB to challenge Orton, though I don't think that Orton is a bad QB, competition keeps QB's from getting comfortable.
We need to address another HB, unless we are keeping K. Jones, but it would be nice to have a 2 back Offense again, and I still hate that we traded T. Jones away, and I still to this day would have drafted Mike Williams (WR) over Cedric (waste of F N space) Benson. At least we would have had a WR that didn't pan out, instead of tearing out our heart, which was Thomas at the time.
I also think that I would look into getting some Depth at DB, both CB's and S's. We are getting older back there, and once again I think that competition and Depth never hurt.
A LB too, we need to be careful with Sir Urlacher, the LB's could use one stud in there too.

I would honestly (if I were the Bears GM) look into trading some of these guys while they still have value, and try to bring some youth in, but keep the heart of the team in tact.

I will reread this later and see if I left anything out, lol, and DA BEARS!!!!

I hope we take Orakpo, Smith, or Oher. But since we are Detroit we will take a QB and I prey its Bradford. Stafford screams bust on Ryan Leaf plane.

I think that Tebow (in the right system) will be the steal of the draft, though he will only play for about 5-6 season's once he starts getting hit by bigger boys every game.

I think they should go O-Line, bottom line, that is where they are at, and until they do that, it will be hard to compete.

Go Bears!

I have yet to assess what the Bears need to do, but we sure do have many spots that could use an upgrade.

Bears fan? Didn't know that at all, well then, how do you feel about beating the Staleys? I would have to equate you beating us, like punching mom in the throat as she brings a bowl of oatmeal...Where's the respect, lol, and j/j....

Yes, bears fan here. I mentioned something about it last season as to what the decatur staleys meant. When you pull into decatur from the north there is a sign that says "original home of the chicago bears" or something like that.

Getting back to the forum thread (before it was hijacked), thanks cosmo for the Power Rankings. They shuffled much more into place after game 4. Still not quite there, but big improvements. Can't wait to see after 2 more games.
