You guy had a DT that played in the NFL didn't you. He was a couple years older than me. I think his last name was Spindler? It was about the time Rocket Ismail was coming out of Meyers.

Bushido, maybe you're thinking of a back named Cosmo Curry out of Berwick. They were a USA Today top 10 team at that time, and he got a good bit of press. He ended up playing ball at the Citadel.

Hmmm....VKS/Heat?

This for sure, goes back as far as any other and has had some great match ups, in the post season as well.

Of course I would love to say that Banzai is our rival and have them list us as number one, but the truth of the matter is that we have never properly followed up after that win to snap their streak our first season up here.

Banzai has no peer in zeta at the moment, but we certainly want it to be us.

The Heat game is the one that we get most pumped for every season, but I am guessing that is largely due to you guys snapping our winning streak (39 games). VKS is circled for us this season, as well, though.

+1...

I graduated from Blue Mountain back in the 89, so I'm an old fart. Came back to the area after the service to finish college, and coached junior high at Blue Mountain from 96-99 in the Tri-County football league with Mt Carmel, Pottsville, Shamokin and such. Didn't get up to your area much. We played Crestwood in the playoffs that year, and were up a couple time for basketball and such against GAR and Meyers.

Cool!

Bloomsburg '88. Lost to Dallas in playoffs.

Us old folks need to stick together! lol

It’s Meat Grinder, get it right. But you guys don't have shit on the new Gauntlet of Death we have in Alpha! I like that better than meat grinder it more dramatic and not to mention it's more sanitary.

I miss the bears, I was hoping we'd see them in the pros one day. We only ever did beat them one time.

Definitely Tonga/WS for me. Leaning towards Tonga given our history, however. I'm just glad we finally beat them in the playoffs.
