We're actually going to gameplan for the championship game, instead of just hoping settings work like we've done so far this season.

That was our DC. He's great!

We need quite a bit of work on our offense though. That was my piece last night and where we fell short. I'm having trouble finding resources to help learn the AI and playbook. "common sense" football strategy doesn't seem to apply as much in this game. I've heard about all sort of depth charts tricks with the WR1 WR2 slots as well as running certain plays over and over again that seems to take advantage of some glitch in the sim. I'm not sure if that is true or not just what I've heard on my learning journey *shrug*

It also doesn't help playing a really good defense like you guys

My problem with you has nothing to do with blaming you for this loss. You had no access to any tactic settings so there's no way this loss was your's. I decided not to continue the Parrots relationship with you and cut off your access. You have a day 40 contract which expires tomorrow. In the grand scheme of things that's all this is about. And, honestly, I don't think you were wronged in any horrible sense.

Having to do over again I would not have severed the PM ties and just let you pursue your pro team aspirations with your player. I wish you would have told me that, oh I dunno, one of the two times I PM'd you asking about this. Even if you would have said "I don't know". You ignored the question and never addressed them. This is the 2nd season you've left me not knowing about your intentions to re-sign until the 11th hour. I honestly appreciate that we're in an A league and you want to go with a Pro team. I wish you would have made that clear early for me. We could have worked with you and prepared our replacement throughout the season. As for not hanging around slumming and offering OC advice, your last PM to me that night (after the one I sent asking you if you were going to re-sign and if so if you'd be open to advise or OC for us) said you were leaving work and you'd PM later to help. Then you appear 4 hours later and tell us that you went out to eat. Do you think it would have been useful to tell me that in that PM about you leaving work? Maybe then I wouldn't have left a half assed quick change gameplan in place hoping you'd re-appear before gametime and help me finish it. THAT is why I decided this relationship was not going to go any where any longer. When I saw how late after the biggest game of our life you logged back in all non chalant (I stayed logged in and waited until 3.5 hours after the game looking for your status to go "ONLINE" before I said "enough" and blocked all the access). you are very knowledgable in GLB but don't you think that was a tad disrespectful to me and the team?

If I could do over again I certainly would have tried to be more diplomatic about how I handled the end with you. That's a learning experience for me and I'll remember this in the future when dealing with people. But the venom that you spewed in the forum here is nothing short of shameful. I did not do anything to tarnish your GLB character in public. Not on this forum and certainly not with the team. Well, not until you decided to do your best to throw crap here in the WE A#2 forums with a full onslaught to me and the team. You make it sound like we benched you and kept you stuck on the team for 2 seasons with a contract that you couldn't break out of. Like the horror stories that we hear some GMs and owners do. 3 freaking day is all you had left on your contract. Don't you think you're overreacting just a tad? And the worst I said is that you weren't showing a lot of class. But look what you did for all to see. Seriously, read over your messages here. Read over the start of this thread and tell me that I deserve that sort of venom for holding you 3 days on the team. Even mitigating that you were upset, tell me I deserve that? You didn't like how I handled your termination - hey, fine. But do you think that what you did over the past few days in this forum is in any way justified? An equal retribution for the horrible thing I did to you for holding your player quiet on the team for 3 more days? And somehow this makes it "all good"?
