You clowns can't even concede after a defeat. yeah, your right, we didn't do it to you but you know what, we were there at the end when it mattered! not you! we represented our conference! (not a division, these fall under conferences). so your damn right we were the best in the playoffs from alpha!
I smell blowout.
Nope...that already happened in the league finals for A8.
The bad blood returns!!!!
We were fierce competitors with Rome Gladiators and London Blood Ravens in A8. We all started with nothing....we started with a bunch of lvl 1's on the day before season 2 ended I believe. We were all even and competitive that first year.
Weisbaden was rolling on the other side in Alpha and pretty much running on everyone. We went down to Nola by 1 in the first playoffs off of back to back fumbles with less than 1 minute to go...at their 24 yard line i believe. Easily in FG range. (My own player at that...sickening) Anyway...it was probably for the best though gave us time to grow more.
The next year, we faced Weisbaden in the pre-season...and got steam rolled. I learned a lot from that blowout and it got us on the right track. We also beat London by 1 in the regular season. I knew we were in trouble if we faced them in the playoffs. Everyone knows about those games where you out gain them, have less turnovers...more plays...no punts...yet the scoreboard still says you lost. That was them that game. So, I knew we'd lose in the playoffs. And we did. They moved up...we stayed...probably for the best in the end though. We weren't ready yet.
Weisbaden...still rolling, but they faced Team Perkis that year and they speak for themselves.
Last year, was our time to shine. Then we had one of those odd games were everything was in your favor except for the scoreboard. Lost to Rome by 1. Honestly, I felt confident that we would win in the playoffs because of the 1 point loss. (Last team to beat us) Weisbaden...rolling like usual, then the blow up between them and john deere. funny stuff. I couldn't wait to meet back up with Nola and Rome. Nola checked out early, Weisbaden crossed over, and now Rome disbands....
We've got to come up with more story lines now.
