Yeah...punters are pretty crappy until much higher levels. One of my teams has a lvl 11 punter built really well and in a good game he averages 30 yards. Even Bort has acknowledged that here:

Punting is pretty sucky right now - they pretty much just kick it straight and try to kick it a little shorter when you're closer to the EZ. I plan to add coffin corners, and allow you to set your FG/Punt/Go for it range with the advanced tactics update.

yeah our punter is level 10 or 11 and he kind of blows too. But more importantly - you got beat 20-0... I don't think its your punters fault that your offense couldn't score. Bad field position aside, if you're gonna say how improved you guys are, you need to be able to move the ball. Take heart though from the fact that Hartford is one of the leagues best teams, and probably it's second or 3rd best defense.
Seems like we had a good slate of games.. Gonna be interesting to read the Billionaire after Bel Air was upset by a very underrated Spicewood team.. We (Denver) hung on making a last minute red zone stand against a very good New Brunswick team..

Yeah...the game was much closer than I expected it to be, haha. We took a moral victory from that one. There's a bunch of teams in the middle now who are very close. This is going to be one very interesting season to see who makes the play-offs. Right now I can see 10 teams making the play-offs when there's only 8 slots.
The next slate of games are going to be real good too. We'll see what happens.

Our next three out of four games are going to be brutal: Hartford, Oakland, Las Vegas. Should be pretty good games though.
Originally posted by scarletmbb On top of that you have Bel Air v Dallas and Spicewood @ Scottsdale, which are games that could go a long way in determining who makes the play-offs
those are interesting match ups for sure, anyone with any thoughts as to how they will play out?
Yeah, I'm going with a 4 game slate to compensate for my lameness in not picking a score for this past week's game, haha. The write-up should be done in about 30-45 minutes. I'm about 1/3 of the way done.
