Banana Skin Match-Up of the Week (Lion Conference)

Port Harcourt Playmakers at Cape Verde Headhunters:

Like WoA, the promoted Playmakers went through a hellish 3-game stretch against RSW, the Black & Whites and BoB ... But performed really admirably. A brief respite came with their last game win against a Rhen Main outfit still 'tripping' over themselves, but now they travel to another colossus - Cape Verde.
For the Headhunters, Akira Sendoh finally looks fully healed nursing a sore heel that has kept him from displaying that mad speed he showed last year. Not a good sign for anybody else. Hawk "Did I just hit you?" Davis is a beast, and his insatiable appetite will force Port Harcourt to pay him extra attention in their game plan.
This should be a fantastic contest for all the senses. The Playmakers will compete, but sheer will and pure strength pulls through for Cape who look to remain unbeaten until their final game when they face Red Sea.
Cape wins it 37-24

Minaras ... Great GREAT write-up
Just thought I'd help "plug the gap". Seeing as it is Sunday morning where I am and I am nothing better to do
Let's have another good round of games guys ...

Thx for the addition m8, great write up

Yea, GG m8. Dont think i say too much when i say that 100% rushing wasnt exactly the plan, but cant complain with the result

they ran 100% of the time in this game lol

As said above, it obviously wasnt planned to turn out with 100% rushing And if it had been...well.....yea....

I never predict my own team, so hard to make it the GOTW, always choose a game im covering myself hehe But i agree that it was at least as good a game as Fire vs BoB.

I actually most often do the writing while at work, since i have to pass the time somehow in the slow periods heh. It really isnt that time consuming unless i do the "full coverage" thing, which i havent this year yet.

But seen as i find Journalistic psychology very interesting, i do infact enjoy doing the write up's aswell

Thx for the words tho, the important thing is that its enjoyable for the rest of you guys first and foremost
