Half your players came from this team.....and you are one of them.......team was even half way decent 6-10. How many total guys did your new owner bring from Pro?

Here is your linebacker and running back that started in a PRO league last season, he's in Canada A now....oh and an OT.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?season=5&player_id=52699

Not to mention Conn Chris's AAA players he brought over as well that are all level 38 or so....kinda hard for us to compete when we were a capped league.

Not arguing that Conn did anything wrong at all....just don't think that players (agents) that were very successful in a PRO league (Lynch, Biggs, OT) should change teams to an A league that was capped only 2 seasons ago.

No worries....

not half, 3/4 (and 3 players isnt an entire Western European Pro team, not to mention it was one agent, not multiple ones)

I brought the players over because I wanted them to join the same system that my Center was in. My top choice would have been their USA pro team but my players arent quite ready for that yet. So I was willing to join up with their Canadian A team. Im not quite sure what youre complaining about... maybe that they have a good strong recruiting system/base? You should be complimenting their recruiting skills instead of complaining that its somehow "unfair".

I didn't either until early last season when a Canadian Pro (I think the whiner said it was AAA) team that I had been on was blown apart by the owner. It's hard to have your own players suddenly free to sign anywhere and not take them. So I brought 5/6 of my own here and then got a few more of them this year when the team they were on moved to USA Pro and the owner wanted to find better builds to replace them with. All told, we have 19 agents that range from a guy with one player in GBL to the extreme (for us) which is my 9 players on the team.

We have an agent with three players on our squad that owns a BBB team. I think (although I hope he stays with us) that he might like to take his guys if he moves to A next season. Maybe vols can go bitch about him too. Network and get friends who have players.

By the way sport, this is the fourth season of this league. Look around, there are lots of players lvl30 and above in this league, it wasn't capped 2 seasons ago and you are in fact suggesting that I did something wrong. Last year, we were bounced out of the playoffs by a team that was better than we are now and they won the conf. final over a second team that was better at that point than we are now. You have grown a nice team, why the need to start sniping?

Its all good do what you gotta do to win . I myself went the slow build route with my team. Yeah it was a rough first couple of seasons, but its paying off in the end . I see a few teams using this strategy. Keep with it guys in a couple of seasons not only will your starters be 30+ but so will your backups .

Building slowly is almost more attractive now with the special equipment. In a few seasons there will be some truely beastly players around.

This league is not a capped league. There are absolutely no rules about recruiting or anything of the such. Don't complain that we have out recruited you after the cap was taken off. If you arent constantly trying to improve your team you are not trying hard enough. Yes Chris' players could play for a Pro team as could a lot of those other guys on the team. I own a USA Pro team, and being on Pro is not everything it cracks up to be. You couldn't pay me to go play in the CPL. And I had a hell of a lot more fun in USA A6 than I did in any other league we have played in.

This game is about having fun and we are not in this league to beat up on lower level players. We are here because Chris is a great owner and we have a great system as Bsabres said. It is hard to find a good owner and when you find a knowledgeable, dedicated, and motivated owner than you want to play for him no matter what league we are in. But you guys don't have to worry because we will be in AA next season and you guys wont have to worry about the Mules.

If anyone is interested in any of our teams please send me your build and I will let you know if it is good enough for you to play for any of our teams. Thanks.
