Haha You see I come in at the end of the discussion and its gone the usual way! Two decent guys having a pop at each other, in a rational reasonably civilised way. We then get to the point where the situation is diffused with humour. Is this some kind of parallel internet forum? Where's the "your momma" jokes, accusations of 15 year olds living in their parents basements, dead close relatives and all that? Sheesh guys get a grip.

Nitschke I wouldn't worry about it. I really do appreciate the extra effort you put into doing your predictions and making the forums worth coming too. If Cbothe wants to say something about his team...he should do it on the field point blank. I get tired of people with bad teams trying to defend them. Want to make a real statement get better players and game plans and win a few games against good teams. Then you don't have to look like a little kid trying to defend something that isn't able to be.

Hey captain RunOnSentence, I think you learn in like 3rd grade not to use those. I never said we were a good team. I just don't get why we are called out each week as the terrible team. There are other teams in our conference who don't play as well as we do. Its like calling out the Rams each week and being like, 'Wow they are terrible, I don't get how this will be close', while saying the Lions and Bengals will just lose.

Grammar/spelling smack is the equivalent of tapping out. Nice comeback captaindon'thurtmyselfesteem.

Shadow can I help you? The best putdown ever is obviously calling someone a little kid, espically when you haven't been involved in the first 3/4ths of the topic. So don't try to say anything about anyone else's comebacks when your first reaction is 'oh must be some little kid'.

First of all never use "got". It makes you sound very much like certain minorities. Say why we "Are" or "Were" or something similar.

Secondly when correcting someone else. Make sure you don't have to many errors of your own.

Let me correct your sentence for you.

I never said we were a good team. I just don't get why we are called out each week as the terrible team. There are other teams in our conference who don't play as well as we do.

I didn't notice any "little kid" smack. I just think spelling/grammar smack on a message board is sad. Are you saying I called you a little kid? Or do you have som insight as to what my first reaction was that I myself was unaware of? Oh, and I'm happy not to have been part of the first this thread.
