I don't know exactly how these rankings are done. But, you can read what the two columns mean at the link I gave in the second post of this thread.

I would agree with the others who've said that it's strength of schedule. The teams with losses ranked highly probably lost close games.

My team has lost 3 games to 3 of the best teams in the league by 12 points or so. So we are ranked because of that.

What the heck is the quality of play number anyways? It is all over the place!

QoP is some number generated based on how well the spreadsheet expected you to play, I believe. It generates a spread for each game internally, and when you enter the results, it compares the actual margin of victory (or loss) to what it predicted.

I think that's what it is.
