2 games into it... That's horrible.

Seriously. You request a transfer into this league then immediately gut the team. One final douchebag moment on your way out.

I'm more disappointed in the admin who approved the move tbh. Fight Club had never done anything to merit upward movement imo... and the decision to move them here shows what the admins really think of Africa. It's not like they thought FC was good enough for Pro in their own region.

+1....I put the blame on Bort...This really hurts the ABD...We get a nice win and I believe FC would have beaten some of the teams that will be in the 7th and 8th seeded playoff hunt with us...Also look at the tiebreaker, we scored 44 against them, but now all teams will score 200 points.....Bort never should have did this swap.

Eh. Try not to be too pessimistic. ABD has started out on the right foot with a 2-0 record, and they've been seemingly playing well enough to definitely be a playoff team.

I gotta agree... seems like good gameplanning thusfar. I really think the APL will establish itself as being on par with others this or next season.

I was upset about it; as a GM I wanted to assume ownership and keep everything alive, but unfortunately he felt gutting was the proper course of action. No one on the outside understands the purpose of it, but I think you'll all realize that you'll miss the opportunity to play against Fight Club instead of dealing with just another gut job.

We'd have fun playing against any decent team, but Vens... bigcali... whatever... has a history of being a negative influence on the game (beginning with the multiaccounting lol). Coming in here and sounding off about his own greatness obviously rubbed a number of people the wrong way. He wasn't alone in the obnoxious entrance, either - a few other players/GMs chose to run their mouths almost as fast as Fight Club runs away from competition.

You'd think that a team looking for a new start wouldn't keep using the same recipe of irritating people in the forums and then stinking it up on the virtual field. Small wonder that you didn't find the same warm welcome other newcomers encounter every season upon their arrival. Some of that was the reputation which preceded you but the bulk of the cold shoulder was earned right here in the APL forum. The gut job is just another data point in a long stream of boorish behavior.

GL to each of you as you look for someplace fun to play.

Fight Club = Coyotes What do you think???

?

Coyotes talked a bunch of smack about going undefeated and owning the league, they didnt then folded. They at least stuck it out a season though.

Are you talking about the Coyotes in the USA Pro league? If so we far from folded, just switched owners and had to rebuild. We've got a great team now, have had a couple tough games because of our chesmitry but almost everyone in the USA Pro league feels we'll be back on top real quick. Plus the OC (me) is the same and Ronin (former owner) is still a GM and is part of the team).

It's more so that we all wanted other things, and we all left.

So if anyone quit, I guess it was all the players.

This is true. I remember asking RT a couple seasons ago when they were all leaving Conakry if Laggo was quitting and he said "No, but all the players are leaving."
