Thx guys, glad that my 2 weeks as predictions temp was satisfactory, heh. I'll ofc be happy to step in again if upnorth ever goes AWALL again

Not to be too picky...but it's AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave). Just heads up for the future.

Aha, rgr that Not from America, and just went with a "Absent Without Authorized Leave" thingy hehe. Dunno why i put the extra L in there tho lol, probably just the word "wall" playing tricks on my poor European mind

It was a good guess, and as I said it was more of an FYI then anything else.

Cairo Crocodiles at Dakar DragonsBIG GAME
Even tho the able doesn't mean much as this point, it would be silly to have a #1 vs #2 game and not have any mention of it. Dakar are currently in 1st following their game against the cup cake Trinidad team. Dakar has proven the ability to beat other than weak teams tho, as the Sharks learned in week 1. The Dragons have made some, but not many off season roster upg's, and look to have strengthened the right positions as they are looking stronger than ever. The Cairo Crocs will be a very different game for the Dragons tho, as the Crocs represent some of the very finest talent this league has to offer. With 2 solid performances, they have already taken the lead amongst the predetermined favorites, and this looks to possibly be the year of the Crocodile. Even tho Dakar is a very talented team, Cairo has to win these games if they want to claim the throne of the Elephant conference this year. Cant be any question as to who takes the favorite role, but if not on their toes, Dakar could get a little too close for comfort.
Cairo wins 43-24

Good call...it took a 14 point 4th quarter for Cairo to win by 6.

Great game Dakar, good luck the rest of the way, and I'm sure we'll see you in the playoffs.

GG RSW, that sure was a close one. Those early interceptions killed us, but I think we did good considering the 15 lvl difference in our teams.

Good luck in the rest of the season to you guys. Awesome squad, and i hope we get a chance at revenge in the play-offs if we make it that far

GG I was hoping for a close game that we could pull out in the end but chemistry may have screwed with our QBs a little with those ints but I am just happy we gave you guys a good game!

Good luck the rest of the way, hope you guys win out.

Good luck the rest of the way and I am sure we will see you in the playoffs.

Lake M'Zumba Cannibals at Cairo CannibalsGAME OF THE WEEK
This should be a feat, literally. Who can say no to some Cannibal on Cannibal action? Not me! This is the game to prove who deserves to carry the name of Cannibals, as the looser will forever be known as the Vegans. Both teams come off of big victory's, with Lake M beating EEORG and Cairo defeating Rwanda, so both teams have proven their worth so far. Now they have to continue the good showing, a task that might be easier said than done. Lake M has to be favorites following their impressive showing against a very strong EEORG team, but Cairo wont go down easy, and they have the squad and coaches to pull of the surprise.
Lake M wins 54-38

Actual Score: Cannibals Win! Well, the Cairo variety anyways, 45-9. You were only off by 52 points

I aimed to stop their run, didn't stop it, but kept it in check well enough to hold them out of the end zone all but one time (almost two). Our players came hungry and forced 4 turnovers. A big turnover in the redzone at the end of the 4th Quarter kept the score padded in our favor. Aside from a few big runs. It's never pretty when two hungry packs of Cannibals run into one another.

My HB finally got some pep back in his step. Took 3 games to finally get my first TD of the season.

Yeah, I'm evolving and shifting our defense AI every weak. Getting a grip on the new Offensive Plays, isn't easy mode defense calling like it was last season.

Warriors of Anubis at Katanga Diamonds
WoA beat up on the defenseless Rhinos in week 1, but ran into a beating of their own against RSW last week. This week they face another of the top caliber teams, as they travel to Marianne Stadium to face the Diamonds of Katanga. Katanga have had a good start to the season with a win against the newcomers from Swaziland, and last week a close win against Cape Verde. The Cape Verde game can prove to be very deciding later on when play-off seeds are counted up, and the players are full of confidence. They go into this game as favorites, but they will have to keep their offense productive, as WoA has put a total of 92 pts on the board in their first 2 games.

Katanga wins 37-27

Result : Katanga wins 59-0
