I'm just amazed that you didn't rank my team(Guinness) last. Got a tough draw and will definitely be a doormat this season..

Saipan Fighters announce team captains for season six and there are some unhappy faces in the locker room. On the Offensive side the team will be lead by QB Dylan Salisbury, WR Catch Anything, FB Lead Blocker, and C Can't Get Right. On the Defensive side the team will be lead by LB Justin Moy, FS Gerald Alexander, DE Shane Thomas, and DT Keifer Dog. Special Teams captain will be returner Jerry Wiggins.
With new members stepping in and taking over as team captains the locker room mood has been stirred up a bit. It may cause problems on the field and in the locker room all season. Some of the team captains from last year that did not get the nod this year are a little upset but are willing to adapt to the owners decision. Other such as Petey Buch and Willie Shields who have not only been replaced as team captains but also find themselves sitting as backups on the roster this season. Buch says "it sucks getting slighted by upper-management this year and having their "C" removed". How will it affect the gameplay of Buch and Shields? Stay tuned....

Well Saipan Fighters fans that was not what we expected in the game opener. We knew it was going to be tough but whoah!!! Even with three interceptions and a fumble recovery for a touchdown the defense couldn't stop Rusty Nugget from throwing 500 yards in the game. The Mustangs get off to a great start after a sluggish first quarter to pull off a 65-24 victory. Saipan owner, coaches, and players are all felling frustrated after this loss. And a quick move was made to get rid of dead weight even though he had 3 pancakes Mini Baig was released. "What is the sense of having him on the team if he is not an active part of the team?" comicfanman explained after the release.
Other shocking news after the game isn't surprising. Billy Jack Von Erich threw a Gatorade 5 gallon drink container across the locker room after the game and quickly got on the phone and hired Drew Rosenhaus. Scott Boras was heard to have contacted Willie Shields and Petey Buch about their contracts and may be looking to renegotiate for larger contracts to match the leagues average salaries. Willy, Petey, and Billy Jack are calling a players only meeting on a player revolt and start their own clique and agenda. Especially the older vet's who been with the team for 4+ seasons.
Pain in the ass Boras has advised his clients to attend this "meeting" with the intent of getting Billy Jack to agree to a holdout due to the disrespect of the owner removing our "C" and giving them to "new" players. Expect to see these guys to become the Terrell Owens and Randy Moss of the locker room and spread their "cancerous" attitudes to many others, causing a massive headache for team owner comicfanman.
In an effort to belay the tensions in the locker room, Miramar Baggins has put forward an idea to management to have no captains at all. At the coin toss, instead of the captains coming out to call the flip, the team mascot will call the flip, and promptly flip the ref if the flip doesn't go our way...
Another seeping story is that (CB)Andre Woolfolk has been placing bets against Saipan. This could be seen in several plays today where he either played off the receiver to far or pretended to trip over his own feet to stop a touchdown. So there is a big investigation by the owner and coaching staff. Noted plays are as follows and GLB has been notified about the possibility of major fines and possible banning:
Rusty Nugget pass to Michael Quickhands Jackson up the right side

It seems lady luck is once again on vacation and it may be another long season for Saipan. The Fighters' next game isn't going to be any easier. What is going on in Saipan? Stay tuned.....

Another disturbing day in the Saipan Fighters' headquarters. What seemed to be some sort of glimmering hope for season six has turned out to be a trip on the edge of doom. Comicfanman can't win for trying anything with his roster and can't get to get consistency from anyone on the team. Until the team comes together and play as a single unit Saipan may never be a contender.
Safety Gerald Alexander was asked by a reporter about the locker room division on captains. Gerald replied, "I may have a 'C' on my jersey, but does that matter when the ball is snapped? I suggest any players focused on that need to check their priorities. I'll trade in that 'C' for a win any day." You would think a lot of respect would come out of what seems to be a team player's comments.
But when Billy Jack was asked by the same reporter for his comments on what Gerald Alexander said, "That's why he shouldn't be a captain! Comicfanman is putting followers in as leaders and that is what he is going to get! I mean come on man. The C means respect and a mentor to others, Gerald uses it as a punchline at his pool parties. You want to know why Willy, Petey and me are upset. There's your answer. Put that in your paper! If you want to go ask any other questions, go ask the man. All I do is show up."
And reportedly although Keiferdog is relatively new to the team and getting the team captain nod. Hearing the rumor of the mascot calling the flip and giving the ref another, he gives a slow nod, as if to say that would be cool. What is going on in Saipan? Troubles on the field and troubles in the locker room.
Will the management get a grip on the team before things fall to much farther apart? Will the players revolt or finally band together? Stay tuned.....

Well Saipan Fighters fans we are at a loss. An 83-17 loss is not going to cut it. It is looking very bleak for the Fighters. The inner tor-moils among players is tearing the team apart. They move one step forward and five steps back, everyone has an answer for the Fighters' offense and the defense is still sputtering. I can't imagine what is going on in the head of the owner, but it can't be good. Powerhouses continue to move into the league and surpass the Fighters every season. This could be the straw that broke the camels back. This could be the last kamakazi dive bomb for Saipan. Speaking of powerhouses the Samoa Gangsters look to dismantle the Fighters as well. What kind of fight do the Fighters have left? Stay tuned....
