I see you couldn't sustain work though.

BTW, many small business owners make more than 250k per year.

FYI, not many small buissnesses make more then 250K...........

how do you figure. business owners making over 250k per year are not consider big business.

BTW, BigC, I can go all the way back to the mid 90s when Dick Armey had a ton of support to go to a flat tax. It was held up constantly by the dems.

And to say Obama will have things fixed in his 4 year term is proposterous. The shit is garbage and so effed right now, that it will take longer then 4 years to fix.

Obama has been quoted as saying on many occasions that 'we may not get it all done in one term, but we can at least get things headed in the right direction.'

That is one of the most fundamental differences between Democrats and Republicans. My view of 'small business' is much different than your view of small business. Case in point, McCain referred to the CEO of Ebay as being a champion of small business.

and why is that? Ebay started small as many other companies do and some grow them into mega businesses. But why raise taxes on them?

Your not raising taxes. Your just eliminating some of the breaks. There is good reasoning to give small businesses a tax break. It fundamentally helps them to develop. However, once the business is off the ground and making great profit (I would say over $250k per year is good profit...) there is no longer a need for those businesses to receive those breaks that help smaller businesses develop. There should be a point where those incentives that are given for starting a business are removed and provided to other areas.

Under the Obama plan as far as taxes are concerned most people hone in on 'increase in paid taxes for those that are making over $250k per year' and see it as he is 'raising taxes.' That's not the case. Will business' over $250k see an increase in the tax they pay? Yes. Not because he is fundamentally increasing the amount of taxes that they are required to pay, but because he is eliminating the breaks in the tax code that have those business' paying much less than they should be under the current tax code. George W. Bush's tax code.

ok so it will come down to the business's bottom line. There there's a drop in the bottom line where well I cut to keep it where I want it? Move business overseas? Cut a job or two? Lower quality of product?

come on, do you really think that raising taxes on those it gonna affect them? No, like always, it will affect the middle class because those raises will "trickle down".

See I run a small side business and I did really well in 2007 which moved me up some on my income tax. Did I worry about having to pay it? No, what I did was raise my prices and passed it on to my consumer. Now tell me, who did that affect? Me?

Edit: Raising tax = removing tax breaks
