I have no problem AT ALL with hunting, and I really don't think that most Dems do either. (note: I do not consider myself "democrat" but I usually vote that way). Some crazy people that classify themselves as "liberals" are all about the animals but it's not a mainstream view IMO. I personally don't really care, and I think there are more important matters. And I think most people think that way too.

Ironically, my father and I are both libertarian, but we're voting for the opposite candidates.

I'm voting for Obama because of social issues (as well as holding out hope that the big government might create a stimulus for 4 years), my father's voting McCain because of economic issues (we make over $250,000/yr and taxes are pretty high as is, considering our living area).

I'm not strongly devoted to either candidate, and thus I don't feel overly affected by the outcome either way.

And I generally don't like getting into political debates (moreso philosophical) for many reasons, but I personally would never purchase a fur coat or something, and I'd never treat the world as my plaything, and if I could have one political wish, it'd honestly be for world peace (I really think fighting on any level is ridiculous and useless).
