I finished the Baconator 3 hours ago. It was pretty tasty.

Heart attack eta: 3 hours

It really isn't any worse than most bacon cheeseburgers. The bacon is thin as shit, and the patties are thin. I've had bigger and more bacony burgers at places like Applebees.

Yeah, but no matter how big or bacony the burger might be, it's from Applebees, which means it can't taste any better than 7 year old falcon dung...

Heh, actually you have to go to the southern half of Virginia before Hardees' start showing up. I don't think exist north of that (on the east coast, haven't been farther north than NYC though).

I know they are in AL, MS, FL, GA, LA, AR, IN, IL, and MO as well. Carl's Jr. is only West Coast I believe. CA, HI, maybe OR and WA. Anyway it is same food but different name.

When I was in TX, I think Whataburger was a big chain. In CA, I liked In and Out, but haven't seen one of those since I left San Diego.

Yeah I've never been to an In and Out. I did see one in CA though a few years back, I live on the east coast obviously. In the metropolitan area, Five Guys has become pretty damn popular (it's in some airports [Atlanta for one] and more and more it's at stadiums). Those burgers are so good it's ridiculous. The way I've structured my diet (bulking, I lost a bunch of weight and I'm getting it back) I don't eat it anymore (mostly steaks and Chipotle), and you can overeat from there pretty easily if you have more than like 2 a week, but hot damn.

Edit: And yes, when I saw KY I thought of the jelly first.

Hardees are all over NC. But damn, if you're in NC, you need to hit up Andy's. Great stuff there. Or, better yet, if you're in the eastern half of the state, hit up Smithfield's Chicken and BBQ, or Bojangles. Screw hamburgers when you're in NC.

And it is Hardees up here in Wisconsin.

Haha well the Carolinas are so black (especially near Kiawah!!) that of course that food is better. It's not even being racist, they seriously take pride in their chicken!

Wish we had a Bojangles just so I could pronounce it "bo-han-glaise".
