Only a handeful of teams were left in the conference, I think he was refering to the playoffs. None of the Good AA teams have lost to a rookie yet.

Kinda. The top 4 in Zeta or whatever it is are still undefeated. Unfortunately the Storm and the Firebirds for "Alpha" have had rough starts. No worries, still plenty of time. Hopefully the Firebirds can run off a nice streak AFTER we hopefully beat them Friday.

My team needs to get its defense in check badly. Got the squad to be semi-decent, need to get the AI going now.

holy crap I did not know that Shanghai Shadow Dragons was in SEA AA#1 since season one. From 1-22 in Season 4 to 22-1 is season 5 is impressive though, nice turn around.

Not that tough when you drop into a lvl 21 league with a lvl 24 average.

Alpha has fewer cupcakes in it than zeta does. Zeta has more top teams, but a much bigger discrepancy between the elites and the also-rans, so I would argue that it's much more difficult for the new teams to put up a 7-1 record in Alpha than it is in Zeta. You just don't get those games where you can pad your stats with the DE who has to compensate for your undersized libido.

I'm impressed with how well-run the Sting and Lions both are, and both of those teams have been successful because of the quality of their management. You've proved you belong here, so don't worry about what one person (a person who most people ignore anyway) has to say about it.
