Comparatively speaking, hows the bench? Must be great to paying for gear getting crap playing time. As many other buckeyes have found out with 5star dropping them half way through the season when caps are changed. Now that caps are static you may have some luck but I doubt it.

We got our asses kicked...I'm not ashamed to admit it. I don't remember being "mean" to Osaka before our game? Unless you are talking about the Ohio State crack? Which wasn't aimed at the Osaka team...unless everyone graduated from Ohio State. I'm a Saints fan...do your worst.

I guess that is where reality and doing what you have to do to win comes in. 5STAR plays and manages the team to win, and he is good at it. Everyone knows nice guys finish last! If you have to bring in replacements to win the you have to. If you know sport, you know this can happen, and generally will happen to everyone. That is why while you are on a good team like Osaka, you make the most of it while you can. If 5STAR did not recruit and turnover players we would be a nice 10-6 team in A5. One day my players may become superfluous and when they have they can retire gracefully with my Championships.

glad they brought up our defensive coordinator's player....since he helped recruit i am sure he is pissed and unaware...by the way half of our original staters are still starters. over half our roster was here for the first season. every player that changed roles was notifies PRIOR to us signing another guy. By the way I retired my players on the team to make room for new blood to create a diverse team.....I understand your jealousy is Sacramento ready fot another ass kicking?

Look, I'm probably one of 3 folks in here who can speak directly to this having scouted you when you started. No offense 5Star - you do not have 1/2 your starting team. I scouted both, and I am sure that anyone who was max boosted as Leila was when we started (13+3+3) is under lvl 32 - actually I can state that unequivocally. It would be mathematically impossible as I know for a fact the Leila was as far progressed as possible from the start, has started every game since, and has boosted all years except this year for max levels. Meaning you can't get above 32. Your average roster level for starters is significantly higher than that at many positions - your HBs (e.g. widowmaker is no longer there)and WRs are different as well CBs and a lot of O line, meaning a whole new offensive core and secondary.

No doubt that you've recruited well from what I see and I give you all props on that, you have every right to be proud of the effort - but don't try and shovel me that that's the same team you started with in A.

As for treatment - 5Star has always been a bit cocky but with good reason - he plays well, plans well and has a good set of folks assisting him. If you got moved back it is only because he's building to leap up leagues quickly and he will do it, your guys got recruited over and replaced. As Manureid noted, he's out to win - and will do so in the most efficient way possible and will probably do well.

I will say this, you are going to meet a very similar group coming up in AAA and there are better developed teams, i.e. PPC and RMOG guys, that are coming up as fully planned squads - I hope you can dial in your group and be ready for them.

Good luck and hopefully at some point we'll have even squads again.

Its all good bigr925 you've been cool man, and Osaka is plenty diverse...even a Michigan fan or two! CircleJerk up there is an idiot and has no idea what he's talking about. We're a close team and 5star's always had the entire teams support and respect.

Pretty sure Widowmaker left before our 1st season was finished, and we do have a lot of season 4 players around still, not sure its quite half bit its a lot. Like our starting QB and much higher leveled QBs are a dime a dozen to pick up if that's what 5STAR was about.

What I meant is over half this roster is intact from last season.

29 returning players, 17 new players

12 of the 29 are from the expansion roster in season 1.

Anyway with that cleared up I do not understand the talk of 'AAA' already. This season just started and I am more interested in beating the Gold Coast Samurai than what would happen if this team was magically in 'AAA'.


Some players leave, some players stay.

PS: Coaching, builds and gameplans are alot more important than level.

the bench is great, it gives me more time to COACH, if you didn't pick up on what 5star said i'm the DC of the buckeyes, and another news flash theres alot of guys that make a great living playing special teams, thats what depth is all about. I helped recruit these guys knowing that oxlonger would be playing a backup role. so try again!!!

He thinks an owner cutting his own players to sign other agents is a negative...


He also thinks not starting is some huge disrespect....

But in all honesty an owner having a team with no players actually IMPROVES forum activity and allows cleaner gameplans because instead of trying to make your own players superstars within a gameplan...you go with what is best for the TEAM.

Last I checked our BACKUP DT lead the defensive line in sacks last year...our BACK UP CB lead the team in picks and defensive TDS...Backup is not a curse it is actually a chance for your player to play against the opponents weaker players and will result in BETTER production...

But then again that is why Sacramento has lost as many game in their first 2 regular season games this season as the Buckeyes have in 34 regular season games.

Don't worry bud you are right...IF your team stays together you will be good...once everyone else either sells their teams or the players hit season 10 and start to retire.

Heres to 5 years of suck hopefully followed by a season of greatness!
