Getting chippy in here, I like it.

However it goes down, I know the teams moving up from zeta will be top shelf.

Chippy is going to be Revelstoke working over the Dictators tomorrow. Btw, what happened to Hitler?

Looking forward to it.

As for Hitler, I am trying my best to walk the razors edge between funny, but a bit of a dick and flat out asshole.

I figured Hitler was more on the asshole side.

I'm erring on the side of raging dickhead in BBB-one-three. Canadaleaf can't seem to tell that it's schtick, but I'm enjoying myself.

I hope we beat you. I think we can beat you. I think you can beat us. Something tells me in my gut that if we played 3 times you guys would win twice if neither of us made a major tactical mistake because you have something we don't, dominant pass-rushing DE's. Not to throw my guys under the bus, but my team leader in sacks has 12. Your #3 guy has 12.

I just think it's a little arrogant to act like you're way better than anyone else in the league. If there's one thing about AAA#2 that's always stood out to me it's that it's full of classy teams and owners. It's one thing to have friendly banter and talk a little smack in our forums. It's a completely different matter to announce to OPL that you're the best team in AAA#2 Zeta and going to wipe the rest of us off the map like it's a foregone conclusion you'll be moving up.

As for levels, I think that levels mean very little when you're talking the difference between a lvl 30 and 34 player. People who built players season 1 based on the guides Bort links to ended up with wasted FP and are often no better than players 3-4 levels behind them. Early season one we didn't know about the soft caps or advantages of getting to them quickly. Most of us went by the guides and dumped a ton of points early on into stamina to get it higher than it needed to be at those levels and worthless SA's.

The Gunners have always been a bit brash and that is our style. It does tend to offend some but most will tell you that they respect, if not like us. Something about John and I, we will talk the talk and most of the time we walk the walk. But if a team does come up and beat us, we are the first ones to give congrats. We also help any team or agent that asks and we dont hoard our knowledge like many successful teams out there. We also play anyone that wants to face us and we back down from no one. We arent afraid of taking an ass kicking and I think that makes us better.

So while I understand how you feel, also understand this is part of our persona and we mean no ill will.

sorry dpell, no offense to AAA Zeta either. I know that 1-8 is going to come to fight. I've seen so many #1's go down in flames in the postseason, i know no one is safe. I talk trash, sometimes i land in it.

Actually, stamina has become more valuable, I feel, with bort amping up the effects of energy on games. And the difference between 30-34 is pretty significant, mainly because of L32 gear.

But yeah, I know what you mean -- well build players really are going to do just as well as someone a few levels higher who didn't build as well.

Getting to the 1st and 2nd soft-cap late is the bigger deal. Today everyone knows to go straight to the soft cap for your primary attributes. Back then we were all building balanced players. It can end up being the equivalent of 4-6 points in a primary attribute and 15-20 SP.

Which is why I want more of your players on the Convicts next season.
