There is no taking into account of teams that are 'easier' or 'harder', we're all treated as equals here.

btw, you call pride united and i pussies? we are from a lifting forum, while im fairly jacked (when not recovering form surgery like i am now). my boy pride united is 6'2" 255 of jacked fibraz. he is the last person you want to call out.

I am loving this power ranking, so far.

But for a second I dreamed about seeing something like that calculation used to split tiebreaks during trading card games tournament. Basically, it takes into account who you played against, THEIR position in the standings AND the position in the standings of the players you played against.

At the end of all this you have a perfectly working tie breaking system based primarily on wins and losses, but right after that it's all about the opponents you faced and their strength (which is derived from win losses and again from their opponents, and so on).

I am sure they have a spreadsheet where you only have to put in results and it does the calculations. Would love to see something like that applied here.

Yeah I agree it would be good to take the ranking of opponents into consideration, however as this is an “Unofficial” ranking that isn’t going to be used by GLB or anyone else for that matter to determine official playoff places I think it does its job well enough. Think of it as a free newspaper providing you its take on the league, sure whilst the rankings between papers may look different, at the end of the day it’s still nice to see your team name somewhere out there. Even nicer too read a little write up on them whether you’re a Power Five or a Bottom Feeder, it’s all fun.

Thanks for the appreciation, it’s always nice to know that people are reading it, even better to see it causing a few discussions!

well only advice i can give you without letting anything go out that can come back to haunt me is...just real simple...when making your team...find players that are more active and honest then ones that just want 100k salaries...as the ones u take care of now...by talking to and making apart of the team and give playing time too...as opposed to just buying...will go a long way...don't be afraid to sign a lvl 2 or 3 because that is someone that can grow with your team...rather than buy the lvl 10 and have him not be committed...get a good core of players that care about playing and you will suffer now but benefit in the long run...not saying don't spend money on talent...but make sure they worth it...by talking to em first....also new owners are just gonna have to take the beating right now til they can catch up...because everyone else is a step ahead of you...maybe look at your strategy and make a few adjustments that you think will benefit you more...look at weaknesses too to make your decision about offense...that's pretty much all the advice i can give...

Fellas, fellas, fellas... does it really matter who is atop the rankings after week 2 of the season? Our goal (Jersey), and everybody else's should be, to be standing on top when the season is over.
We will all have the chance to prove ourselves over the course of the season. So lets go out, knock some heads and may the better team prevail.

enough said...there is no way to take teams lvl into consideration because everyone started 0-0...we'll see at the end who's where...i'm not worried about it...fight you doing a hell of a job...and anyone complaining about it can just go do it themselves...the way i look at it is...if you doing it...i ain't gotta..lol...and i'm gonna be confident all the way...but i can't guarantee a championship...we'll let our playing do the talking...we have come a long way from the 3rd game last year...so boasting now is ever so great...but when it comes down to it...it doesn't matter if you ranked 1st or last...it's who plays the best when the big games are on the line...that's when the bragging rights come into effect...so see you all then...and besides i would rather have everyone chasing us...i want ya'll at your best...not at your worst so let me beef everyone up so when they play us they bring their A+ game...because your gonna need it...i wanna see someone score on us or even maybe stop us from scoring and thx pride...for the comment...hey hopefully we will see you in the playoffs...i wouldn't mind that.
