You had one DE with 8 sacks, and a LB with 3 and another with 2. Your DE did a ton of damage, take even half of those out and you have a different ball game.

The only thing I'm bitter about is the way you've talked on these forums this whole season about having it won blah blah blah, not everyone was lucky enough to buy 3/4 of a d-line because they knew someone.

And no, a trade is a trade where someone gets a player or money in return for another player or money, you BOUGHT your d-line. Teams who are able to buy their way into a 1st place position should be promoted up a league above the rest of the conference who either chooses not to, or isn't able to do the same. That's all I'm bitter about, it's nothing towards you or your team personally..simply the way BBE had 3 DEs fall into their lap and become the deciding factor for the season so far

I didn't know anyone. I recruited people with high level players. Isn't that what we all try to do.

I like my team a lot too, and I pull many, many 3:30am recruiting/game planning sessions. I work hard for my team and it sucks to have someone talk about having the season won like you have, when you didn't even have to recruit those 3 d-lineman. He came to you about bringing them there. I've had to work extremely, extremely hard to recruit every single player I've got on my team.

I wouldn't point out the 3 d-linemen so much if it wasn't for the fact they are the sole reason you're winning games right now. Defensively we held you to a point where had it not been for a ridiculous amount of sacks, we very likely would've put up the points to win.

And I realize you recruit people with high levels, that's fine. All I'm saying is expect to win and be humble about it...you should also realize that your high levels are a step above the rest of the conference's starting levels there, with the exception of maybe UN. You should be out-performing us, and you should get a promotion to a league higher than us now..idk how that will shake out

But no, I'm not bitter towards you or your team..and I'm honestly pretty impressed with the way the game turned out

He didn't bring them. I talked to him on AIM all season to get him to bring those guys here.

Neither of us could be happier with the decision he made to bring his guys here.

I'm on GLB all the freakin time as my "job" allows it. I'm always watching film/gameplanning/reading forums.

The D-line does help, but we didn't have them last year when we beat you or when we were 13-3. We didn't have them when we upset UN in the playoffs.

It certainly inst the only reason BBE is undefeated.

well in the defense of the offense, D3 changed his running style this game and that had a bit to do with his rushing stats. But truth be told defense is winning games everywhere in every league and alot has to do not with builds but with tactics. Until they add Advanced offense settings theres little you can really do with great tactics, and tactics is whats winning us games!

I'm sorry LTD but I'm just not sold on your guys' tactics. You are definitely right though, the offensive AI needs to come out soon so that offensive GMs have something complex to match up with the defensive AI complexity. Some of the blitz schemes are proving slightly hard to deal with not having a complex offensive AI to work with. Otherwise you can't deny the fact your DE having 8 sacks set Iowa back on yardage really, really badly. Many 2nd and longs and 3rd and longs that were simply hard to overcome for Iowa because of the sacks.

And this year's Iowa would beat last year's BBE. You guys had a good team, but nothing compared to what it is now because of the DEs you brought in, and that's honestly about the sole reason you won today's game. To say otherwise is too much.

You are definitely right though, the offensive AI needs to come out soon so that offensive GMs have something complex to match up with the defensive AI complexity. Some of the blitz schemes are proving slightly hard to deal with not having a complex offensive AI to work with. Otherwise you can't deny the fact your DE having 8 sacks set Iowa back on yardage really, really badly. Many 2nd and longs and 3rd and longs that were simply hard to overcome for Iowa because of the sacks.

What about the other 7 sacks that came from the fact I can use the D AI very well

That comes from the fact we dont have an offensive AI to match up with the defensive AI, just like LTD said above.

If you know how to setup tactics this season you can create massive sacks, just look around other leagues. We shall see how Iowa plays the UN. IF you guys lose to the UN you have no ground to stand on.

I wouldn't say that. That's like trying to say this game is full of cookie cutter builds and cookie cutter teams. Every team brings a new strength and weakness to this game. Invalid point imo, because game planning will be a different story
