I guess there was jockeying going on when matching up the teams. Would have liked to see the 'Nites, Tonga, and a few others get some of their big boys.



I think it comes down to strategy. The people matching up the teams are obviously trying to put together the most wins they think will happen to win the tourney. Cobra Kai runs their mouths a lot, so that match will be sweet....but I wouldnt have minded facing one of The wall Knights or Benitos. We already faced the Monkeys last season.

I think Oceania is trying to win the whole tourney which is the point of it since it is Ryder Cup style....rather than seeing epic matchups.

and who even puts TITS as one of the leagues top 3??? Crazy

Good Luck Oceania Pro! Nautilus and I had fun selecting the match-ups, and the cup itself should be even more fun. I would like to see this become an every season thing.

One saving grace of this (My monkeys got the same deal Tonga did) is that the tie breaker is average margin of victory. So, a huge blow-out could tip the scales in either regions favor should we go 6-6 against each other.

Edit: Also, maybe we should come up with a name for the cup as I would like this to become an yearly competition.

I understand not everyone got the teams they wanted and a lot of your feedback makes perfect sense. A few of the matchups, especially at the end, were based on what we thought gave us the best chance to win 7 games or more.

Next year I will enjoy just being one of the teams thrown into the mix to represent Oceania. I think each year we should rotate captains.

I really think we can take em' for the cup.

Lets bury the Sombrero!

I didn't mean that as a criticism. I think you had a plan and stuck to it, and I totally trust the captain did what they needed to do.
