yes, huge win for us. we needed that going into our next two games, we'll see if we can pull off an upset, but highly unlikely.

What really sucked is I didn't have a chance to make ANY changes in our defensive game plan from the EuroTrash game to the Lyon game. So we had the exact same set up.

Thanks, donwendy. That was one hell of a game -- a little too exciting since we were in it. I much prefer to watch others play the close ones ;-)

It was a tough match on both sides of the ball, but our guys stayed in there and made the big plays when it counted. Our offense pulled it together for a monster 4th quarter, and the D came up with a huge stop on that late drive from 2nd and .5. I finally took a breath after that one.

Those games are always tough. Last season we won one like that and lost one like that. You guys have a fantastic team that will only get better. Best of luck to you down the stretch.

Good game. I haven't been on until now although I was on right at the moment to see our 1st loss for the game as there are 3 teams that scare me in Zeta and that is Italian, Edinburgh and Inverness. This is no knock on Brighton, Dublin, Stockholm, Bordeaux or any of the others as these are just the elite. I don't understand the temporary boost because both games that we have used them in they have actually hindered us instead of helped us unless Italian and Edinburgh boosted their ENTIRE team. We only boosted one side of the ball for both games. It would be good to know if you did or not.

Edinburgh didn't boost for Birmingham. Honestly, we were afraid that it would be a waist of a boost because you guys were just too good. We boosted against Dublin the game before because we thought it was a more winable game. And of course we lost.

So go figure.

On a side note, in another league my QB boosted his vision +5 for a game recently. In that game he threw 4 interceptions. The rest of the season combined he's only thrown 2.

So again, go figure. Perhaps the +5 boost is like all of Bort's new creations, and needs some serious tweaking before it works as intended.

O wow now I know who AL is. *lol* All this time we thought it was Bort running the Al's but in secret AL stands for AnotherLawyer. Seriously though I have always had respect for your team as Dublin is an elite team.

Don't worry about it, man. We haven't won anything, so we don't deserve any respect. When we win something, maybe. I just thought it was funny that you named your elite, specifically excluded us, but included two teams we beat.

For the record, I don't think we belong in the elite category, but that's our goal. And to clarify, I think Zeta's elite are Birmingham and Inverness, with Italian, Dallas, and Edinburgh just slightly lower (but only by the slimmest of margins). Then I'd say the third tier are Dublin, Brighton, Bordeaux, Bushy Park, and Stockholm.
