Good game today Texas... we had a hugely failed experiment that I'm putting an end to, and you guys exploited it nicely.... note to everybody, don't play a player out of position...

we had our third FS slotted as number 5 CB and he got TORCHED for 2 td's.

Yet another team that loses to us on an "experiment".

It was a good game. You guys scored 2 TD's on a FS playing at CB that I meant to remove for the game (I'd actually seen enough of it in our last league game when he got torched, but forgot to make the switch before our scrimmage as I really don't ever switch anything up for scrimmages), but I got a bit "distracted" by my girlfriend.

You guys have a solid team, and there's a decent chance you still win even without that flub-up on my part.

Um, we've been playing a SS as our #4 corner all season and he has yet to get toasted. Farnsworth is pretty damn fast though, and the Roughnecks' WR's lit up our #2 corner anyways.

I'm not necessarily trying to add credibility to his claim, but which safety would be better in pass coverage (i.e. get less of an out of position penalty)?

I would imagine a FS would, they generally have more coverage responsibilities. Pure guess though.

I actually want to try something against Rhine in our scrimmage tomorrow now. Farnsworth actually has better "coverage" numbers than at least one of the corners ahead of him, maybe two of them. Let's see what he can do against some pretty solid receivers. I don't plan on using it as an excuse though, if we lose it'll be because our offense is running at less than capacity right now and Rhine does have a heck of a defensive front.

I don't know, we have the luxury of going 6 Deep at CB so our Safeties can stay there
