Teams are ranked by Record, then head to head (eXtreme beat the Saints so they get the nod), then by total points scored (Saints have scored 9 more points than you). Really it doesn't matter until the end where you're ranked, but that's why.

Yeah it was the first game that I actually enjoyed watching from beginning to end. It seemed like every snap had that feel of a game breaking play.
We're still very aware of our past so we're not counting any chickens before they've hatched, playoff wise, but we'd love to see you there.

Thanks for the clarification GM. I know where we're ranked right now doesn't matter much but in the grand scheme of things when you're used to watching the standings in relation to whether your chances of being relegated got worse or better it takes on a bit more significance.

For the record it goes straight to points scored in a 3 way tie unless one team has beaten both of the others... the eXtreme havent played the Drifters yet so their victory over the Saints doesnt do much right now.

The best case scenario here is that you scored 2 TDs and they scored just 2 field goals out of theirs and you still don't win the game. That's the BEST case scenario if the turnovers didn't happen. Add to that the fact that the Jinx had 70+ more yards than you including 2 yards more per carry and 1.1 yards more per pass attempt. You have to be challenged to think that you "dominated" that game and blind to not realize that the breaks went both ways, you were just beaten by a better team.

I think you're wrong. Look at the rankings. If you were right it would be Saints-Drifters-eXtreme.

Hmm, your right Mathias. Bort must have changed a few things because that isnt how it has been for the past few seasons. I know because I have been on the losing end of a few of those deals behind teams that my teams had previously beaten. I like this way better, its more NFL like. I dont know why Bort didnt just transfer the NFL tie breakers over to this game from the get go.

Yea, I have no idea how the rankings work... been trying to figure that out, but it won't matter by the end of the season, there usually isn't many 3 way ties at the end.
