I am sorry, it is about 8:40 pm Eastern on a friday night and we are talking about boobs avatars? Like I said this forum is boring. Talk smack, or don't talk smack. If you feel you team will beat someone, then tell them. If you feel your team is so good it won't happen, then say so...where is the problem? WOW, still nothing after my afternoon challenge. No wonder this league sucks...you don't check in every day and take care of your team and players in forums. I know I will get some people who disagree with me, I will get some people who curse me, but come on, you own or GM a team and leave them basically for two days without encouragement or direction? I get bitched at on my own team forum when owner and GMs go two days without posting, but I ignore them and post anyways....the rest of the team deserves to know someone on the team is active and out league deserves the same to know someone cares. I have seen several threads in the "suggestions" and "GLB" threads that refer to Western Europe as the best region overall even comparred to USA. Let us prove it and take things up a notch. I could care less about "good game", "hope to win in the playoffs", "maybe next time"....awe....make me puke.

Bachus, I have offered Dresden a friendly to give you a preview of the beatdown you will be getting if/when you promote to AAA although I expect Knossos to give that to you prior to us ever getting the chance.
If you watch a professional game you will notice very little "trash talk" prior to a game (unless you are Joey Porter) as nobody likes to give bulletin board material to anyone. I would assume if you could see the private forums though folks are gearing up for Dresden.
Black Watch on the other hand will go about our business until it is time to knock the snot out of you and then we will do just that.
I would hope and anticipate that you will prep for this game and not use the 'ol "it was a scrimmage" and we were testing things out as we will most certainly give you our best. It is a shame you are not in Zeta as we tend to support or Alpha brethren in the end.
So after we donkey punch you, we will invite you back for milk and cookies so we can get to know one another better.

I appreciate the advice. I was not aware of the friendly offer as I have no responsibilities on the team other than a player. Professional game yeah it makes since most teams don't trash talk prior to games, but this is an online game that other than player builds, and setting tactics you really don't have much control over the sims.
A forum is in place for interaction and discussion...how you chose to you the forum is up to each individual. I am so sick of people using "well it was just a scrimmage". Okay, so you use the game to try different tactics that maybe you wouldn't normally use in a regular season game....but are you not trying those tactics to get better? So yes, every game you are trying to win scrimmage for not. And I know non of our players for GMs would ever use an excuse.
Milk and cookies sounds great, but we do have a GM that likes pizza too.
Good luck and hopefully we can get the scrimmage played. We are aware of all the teams in our league and respect each one of them....not every team is top three material at the start of a franchise, each team has to earn that. Some teams get there faster for various reasons, but we respect the number 32 team in our league just as much as the best.
