No hard tackles at all, just good luck on the fumbles, but even take away that red zone fumble/MTL TD and we still won, so I wouldn't say the game hinged on that.

Well my O Al changed when you lead by 14, so we couldn't use our basic gameplan.

Cant wait untill my team boost and we get inn some CBs. We will get home field advantage and we will face you in the Eastern finals.

Then you probably shouldn't have set your O that way

But yes, your team will be a much tougher test once you have some CBs and you definitely overachieve (based on your roster). So, I will never take you guys lightly.

I think of it this way. Better to give the team a chance for a win than go for a respected score.
Anyway, do you have any players availeble for trade?

Right, but you said yourself by being down 14 you abandoned the strategy that you thought would work (and you did have a long drive in your only possession where it was closer than 14). Thus, changing to a more run and gun style that early in the game may have been a bit unfortunate. But there is no way to predict a 90 yard fumble TD I guess.

no... you can't. you snuck past us early in the season in a game we dominated, then we owned the league all year. you lost to a team we beat, and we beat you solidly in the playoffs.

Ah the memories

We were league champions, we beat you in the regular season. Clearly, in the end, you had the better team. However, to be the champion you have to beat the champion.

Anyway, it's all semantics at this stage. You guys won and good on you.

How can the Maniacs not be the preseason #1. They won the league in season 3 and put up a very good season in 4. It will be interesting to see how we fare against you in the playoffs after you handled us in the early weeks. If it goes anything like last season playoffs should be interesting.
