I think the only issue I have with this is that it seems most of the "reporting and evaluating" was done on a purely LVL base...like you just looked at the depth charts and disregarded the statistics and head-to-head matchups of last year.

For one, I know CWM is your team...but ranking them at #2 is a bold move considering they have only won about 8 games in 3 seasons, 5 of which were last season and 3 of those were to the worst teams in the conference. They also were in the bottom 6 in offensive scoring and defensive points allowed last season. Just seems like a lot to improve but I'm not saying it can't be done over an offseason.

Also, with my team...and I am certainly not saying we deserve a much higher ranking, but I just feel like the team wasn't evaluated well. You stated our defense was thin and soft as well as the run game being suspect. Maybe you see something for next year that I don't right now, but we had the #1 defense until the next to last game of the season when we finished 2nd in points allowed behind Sahara.

Anyhow, just wanted to give a little but of C&C on your work, although it is certainly appreciated. I am going to continue through this coming season with my rankings from last year as well, if you don't mind.

While level plays a part in my evaluations, I know they are not the end all be all for builds and team style. I do think your team is thin on defense, not that they dont have talent, but the depth can be exploited. Especially with Bort trying to force us to play more players this year. I am not a fan of your DL, You have open builds dude. I know lvl 17-20s that can hang with your builds there. you seem to goameplan well to compensate for what I consider middling builds. I also think the Defense starts and ends on the DL, and since I find your DL troublesome your rankings droped compared to your competition.

As for CWM, it is bold to put them so high. And honestly I may take some heat for the selection early in the year. A lot of yall will boost b4 we do so we may drop a couple early on depending on the schedule. if the schedule is soft early we will obviously benefit due to our build/boost strategy. You see our last years performance as black and white, I have a little more in depth knowledge of the circumstances to the record/performance. 1st thing, we were a playoff caliber team last season. We made a conscience decision that going to the playoffs and losing wasn't worth stunting our growth. therefore we sent our higher leveled guys to other teams to allow our young guys to ge more snaps and gain max XP. Wevery player on the team was training on intense, so our stamina was mostly in the 30-60 range. Despite this, we were able to score pretty often against most of our comp. We did not boost until day 39, so we gained levels on everyone in the conference and benifitted hugely from daily training. I know our builds are solid and built in a team 1st manor to fit together like a puzzle because we were able to keep our finger on all build. We still are a little lower leveled than the top contenders, but that gap will close considerably by the end of the year. What we lack in level we will make up for in build and game planning. We have arguably the bets management in terms of success and innovation in the conference. Please check our record the last 2 years on Indianola legends. http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=762 the three primary players in game planning and player development from Indianola have the same roles for CWM PT206 and I have the same roles here as co owners and I cover the offense, pt covers the defense, Pyscojester covers the defense along with PT206.

we may be top of the middle of the road for the first 8 games, however we will be in the conference championship game.

BTW, by the end of this season CWM will be better than Indianola was at the end of last season.

Yeah Im not really expecting a 15-1 season again.
I do however plan on being promoted this season though.

I'd probably bring a player down to AA#3 team just so I could stay with this forum if we did get promoted

Well the way Bort is talking about handling sold/gutted teams and sending them to the bottom... means we might see 2 or so teams from each conference going up.

It's definitely going to be a fun season.... I can't wait to see how the schedule looks.

if that happens, I wonder what his criteria will be, last seasons record? the matchup bar? avg level? Will be interesting. he wont do it this season I dont think, because he is fixing to release scheds shortly.

We might actually have a chance this season then!

I wonder as well, how much whining will go on in the main forum? \\

We should have been promoted!

or
Oh my God! we were the best in our league and destined for a championship! Now we are average! This is so unfair!

I've always been of the opinion that sold teams (it not picked-up by a GM) should be deleted and new owners should always start at the bottom. Basically makes owning a team into a game where you have to build it yourself.

Unless the team has moved up to the pro leagues... all the top teams from the league you joined just moved up as well.... (hopefully)

100% agree. all new owners unless its a long time gm purchasing the current team should have to actually play the game.

You mean that same defensive line that sacked your team 4 times this past season? You mean that same defense that had 11 hurries on your team? Give me a break.
